Im Singleplayer bzw. wenn du selbst hostest bist du automatisch Admin. Du kannst andere Leute dann mit "makeadmin name" während des Spiels hinzufügen.
Beim dedicated Server musst du die Admins selbst in die server.properties Datei eintragen (unter "admins", alle Namen mit Semikolon getrennt) ![]()

Jemand anderes hatte ein ähnliches Problem, bei ihm half es, das Spiel als Administrator auszuführen.
Ansonsten kann es mit deiner Grafikkarte zusammenhängen: Du hast scheinbar eine integrierte Intel HD? Falls du noch eine zweite Grafikkarte hast, solltest du diese manuell dem Spiel zuweisen. Ansonsten ist es ggf. empfehlenswert, den Grafikkartentreiber zu updaten.Let's Plays oder allgmein Videos zum Spiel (bspw. also auch Reviews etc.) darfst du - wie @Bogus schon vermutete - ohne Einschränkung machen

The main difference between this an other games may be, that a lot of traffic between server and client happens (custom images, npc's, terrainformation etc.). Only thing I could imagine what's causing the problem... If wireless works, I really guess it's related to your network card or maybe your router

In wireless mode it works? Really a strange problem, maybe related to your network card? The game itself cannot disconnect you from the internet, but when connecting to a server, you may receive a lot of packets, especially when there are many players on it (all terrain information, custom images, player/npc sync and terrain edit messages etc.), maybe your router or network card has a problem with that? It's just another theory, since as mentioned, I've never heard of such an issue before

Usually there should be no disadvantages - at least as far as we know - when allocating more memory^^ -
Spooky... If you have a german keyboard, then it's really the ^ key (above tab). Alternatively, you can try ö or ü.
I can't tell you why steam screenshot function did not work, but the config key has no influence on it. Currently the key from the config is not used at all, and even before, when the defaultkey was indeed F12, people hat the problem that they took screenshots when opening the console (that's the reason why we changed the default key)
Unfortunately the console is the only way to enter commands... I don't know if it has something to do with Linux. What about other Linux users, has anybody these problems too?

Maybe it's related to Avast, since it has an own firewall which may block the connection (still strange that your internet connection is lost afterwards, but maybe Avast shuts it down for some reason)? You could try to disable it temporarily and connect to a server to see if the problem still persists.

Das Problem ist, dass solch eine Lösung erfordern würde, den "Klick bzw. Drag zu unterbrechen", was eigentlich danach nicht mehr mit dem Drag&Drop kompatibel ist. Es ist ja so, dass man die Maustaste gedrückt halten muss, um ein Item zu verschieben. Anders als bspw. bei Minecraft, wo das Item am Mauszeiger hängen bleibt, sobald man es einmal angeklickt hat.
D.h. um jetzt einzelne Items vom Stack in individuelle Slots abzulegen, muss weiterhin sichergestellt bleiben, dass die Maustaste gedrückt (und damit der Drag aktiv) bleibt. Eine Möglichkeit wäre es, einzelne Items während des Drags via Scrollrad aufzunehmen/abzulegen. -

Oh the key in the config.properties is not used at all..
Maybe the slash or backslash key works for you? If not, you should try other special characters on your keyboard. -
I no longer started in the set location but somewhere totally different I saw no bases and spent about 60 odd minutes hoping to find my base., I think when the prima server was updated all buildings were wiped
Either the owner of the server did something wrong (accidentally deleted the worlds-folder, changed the properties etc.) or he deleted the world on purpose (to have a fresh start for example). Note that this has nothing to do with the game, no update since Steam release has ever forced an admin to delete their world (that will not happen so quickly).Maybe they should just have the one option start a game and a button to allow multi player
That is already possible. When you start a singleplayer game, it automatically serves as a multiplayer game as well. Just let your friends either connect to your internet IP (in this case you need to forward your ports of course), or use a program like Hamachi or Tunngle
I will now stop playing until they sort out these major problems
Nothing we can do about it when an admin decides to delete the world. As mentioned, maybe it was an accident, only the serverowner knows what he did

@Nova hat in dem Fall recht: Besser geeignet ist in der Tat das "erweiterte Bausystem" mit Balken und Brettern. Demnächst werden da auch noch Metall- und Steinelemente hinzukommen, das sollte eigentlich weitestgehend großen Spielraum schaffen

Indeed I am an admin on that server. Now that you mentioned it, I was giving myself some lumber using the 'item' command when it crashed. Maybe we could make the program "Ivan-proof" so this doesn't happen to others, or have a more user friendly fix?

We are aware of this problem
It happens when the items are outside of the collision area. To avoid that they fall out of the map, they are simply freezed in that case.
We will find a solution for that in the future, but it currently has a low priority.
