The update was released yesterday adding around 547 new lines to the language file in English and German.

I am currently looking at the best way to add in the new un-translated lines that were added in to Rising World some 36 hours ago.

I would recommend not using any of the translation files I have released until they are updated from Version 1 to Version 2 with the new version including all the changes that have come in with yesterdays update.

As you can see in the picture the character selection screen has translation issues as well because that screen did not exist on our computers until 36 hours ago and therefore could not be translated.

Keep in mind until 3 months ago Rising World was only in English or German.

With a little luck I will be able to start adding in the new text to be translated in the next day or two .... got to do some testing first.

I think Red was talking about that on the Steam forums so he is aware of the issue.

With the update released yesterday, additional translations are going to need to be added to what I have previously done.... will be looking at the best way for me to merge what I have done with the new additions brought in by the new update.

Example, in the picture below, the 2 lines highlighted in red are just some of the new lines that will be needed to be translated to the 17 languages already done.

If you look at the right side of the picture, all of the red in that vertical line are new text that I need to translate.

I entered a forest carrying my trusty primitive stone axe ... and there it was... a 10 foot bear up on it's hind legs with murder in it's eyes.......

So I backed away slowly....but of course the bear charged.

As it got close I swung my stone axe at it once, then again, then a third time, the axe having little affect on this monster. But it did give me time to increase my distance away from that bear and it eventually gave up interest in me, turned it's back and headed deeper into the forest.

Red has confirmed this will be fixed in the next few updates.

I increased the distance that the bandits, etc see me.... these guys saw me from far away and thought I would be an easy target.... little did they know what mistake that was.

There were 3 of them... they saw me...... pointed their weapons in the air and chased after me.

I managed to get away from 2 of them but this archer found me.......

I was in close range of this guy in the picture but because I was standing in the water none of the arrows were reaching me......

In my modded Rising World , bandits and Barbarians are in all 17 biomes........ and apparently are out in the daylight as well......

It is a few hours after sunrose and I see another bandit / barbarian in the distance holding a torch.... ( center of screen in following picture) he is going to see me soon

Have modded back my changes... instead of wide open green valleys now I have forests everywhere....... This area below used to be green grass with occasional trees.

Have already started modding the new version of the game.......... bandits and barbarians are now everywhere.... this fella decided to attack me during one of my tests converting the biomes.......

Has been out for about 6 hours now

I have run my youtube channel for many years and recently focused solely on Rising World videos.

No new content on my channel for a few months as I have been busy translating Rising World into 15 different languages of the 34 languages I have planned. Translating is a very time consuming exercise so it has taken me several months to do these 15 languages with Swedish and Dutch being the 16th and 17th languages being added tomorrow.

Chinese, Japanese and Korean are to be released in the next 7 days.

So with the release of the update August 30th, I plan to showcase it on my RunAndHideGamer channel which will from today be solely dedicated to Rising World.

As yet still trying to decide if I do my first gameplay of the new update live or pre-recorded on Youtube..

We will be moving into the next stage of translations for Rising World at the end of this week........

Keep in mind bears and lions do not attack every animal they encounter.........

For skeletons, we want to add an option to let them spawn at the surface at night (they will then disappear at daybreak). This is a controversial feature, so feedback for that will be quite important

I agree with spawning skeletons on the surface at night time and not having them there during the day....but probably have an option like the animals to turn them on or off the surface.

In preparation for the upcoming Rising World update this month, I have made changes to how you download the language files.

In the first post , way back on Page 1, you now click on the download for each individual language currently in Version 1 and save it into Rising world as detailed in the instructions.

This will allow me to update the languages individually once the update comes out.

At this stage I have no idea how much work will be involved adding in the changes brought in by the upcoming update.

As the updates are added, the version number will be changed and a post will be added saying a specific language has been updated.
