I use XML files for my property files.

Allows use of whatever tags you want. <comment>Hello world</comment>

Place these comment tags anywhere you like in your XML file, just don't parse them.

I think we can chalk this up to the unknown.

I power cycled all my networking equipment and servers - problem still there
Did stuff like netsh int ip reset / netsh winsock reset - problem still there

Upgraded firmwares - problem still there

Networking tests all came back fine. My networks are all working as expected.

Tried to log into another server, your test one I believe. All fine and no timeout.

This is when it got weird

I then logged back into the MR server straight afterwards and the timeouts stopped.

Interesting about the UDP

I've been away all weekend, just got back.

I'll have a look tomorrow evening.

Received a lot of these errors when trying to log in.

Like literally 6 times in a row, about 5 seconds after logging onto the server.

Server and client has been restarted.

Any idea what may be causing this?

This post refers to the # Optional server description, as you may guess from the Subject

I can see we have new line formatting in there - that's \n for anyone else who might want to format their server description on multiple lines.

I'm wondering if you have a list of other possible formatting options? Such as bold, italic, underlined, strikethrough. I thought it better to ask rather than to keep hacking at it and restarting the server each time
