We got a new greefer with a provocative name Afkors. He did some heavy damage on the server, fortunately one of our members repaired it.
Sag you are an admin there and can ban as needed

Is there a fix available for the floating ore issue yet. I just downloaded the server files again thinking that the hot fix may have come but still have the floating ores. Thanks. Other than that the update is great.

You got the 3 that I was going to post. I will add the fourth . I will post up my ban list. Did the top 3 hit your server as well
thanks Red got it all fixed. All chests , Inventory and furnaces are now restored and the updated server files are installed
thank you. would I see any side effects of keeping the world that is now running after I deleted the inventory, chests and furnaces? Players have been logged in over the last hour or so building and I would hate for them to lose any creations . I will update the server files though to run the latest version. I think that the world has been running 24/7 since December 26th. As you know at that time players could spawn invalid items and I would have to go into the DB files and delete the inventory so they could be able to log in again.
On a side not the latest update is great. Players have commented how fast the world feels and how they are not waiting for the world to generate in front of them. You and your team have been great at investigating and fixing issues as they arise. I can say that the players on my servers and myself cant wait to see what comes next. Thanks again Red.
just sent the link via the start new conversation
its about 10 megs with out the images folder. I will upload to google drive and message you the link
no I just let it run and it stopped on its own. I did manage to get the server back up. I deleted all chests, Inventory and furnaces. it started fine after that. I do have a back up from before I applied the latest updat
Red could you review the attached log file. After the last update the server will not start.
While building a space needle I have found an issue were at a certain height you can not build any higher. Is this a limitation of the game or a bug?
Same message on my server 1 and no message on my server 2. AMD 8370 8 core with 32 gigs of memory. Each server is running on a VM on the server. Each vm has 4 cores and 8 gigs of ram allocated . at the time of the error no one is on the server
Has any one had an issue where you can see the bear and as you get closer it turns invisible? You still can hear it and then a few seconds later it kills you
Works great.
Can someone look at this script. I have tried to update it for the latest update but have had no luck. All I managed to do is lock everyone out of the server
I would say It's your graphics card. It's only a 256meg of memory card. see this page for the game requirements. https://bugtracker.rising-worl…ge/more/requirements.html
Thank you. I must have copied something wrong. Its working now
having a little trouble. What would be the command to use /we-fill block (Block#)?
is there a way that you could "release" the old terrain. Ive noticed that as you fly away from an edited area the terrain reverts visually back to the old terrain.
Glad to hear that it works now.
You say that they have disconnects? Do they tell you what the error is?
Im not sure of the error. I will ask a user if they can screen shot a disconnect . In addition to that I just recently started seeing this. The server is an 8 core cpu and I have 4 gigs allocated to the game in the server config file. This happened with 7 players and another trying to connect. the cpu had a 12% load and was using 635 MB of memory at the time . Should I cut back on the reboots. Currently after about 5 hours users say the world goes white like they are underground.
