THanks! No more musket ball crash.

I also died laughing shooting off a whole swarm of fireworks that it's awesome. I however feel there needs to be sizing variations and effects to them, similar to how Minecraft does them. The whistling is awesome, even how they shoot off, yet be awesome if they added trail effects, multi-bursts, and etc. As they are now they're a fun toy to play with that I'm going to dedicate a building to making them :P:thumbsup:

Now, where's the samurai armour hiding at...... The swords are looking awesome as well.

Waiting for Nitrado to update my server.......

Well, when i saw the word 'fireworks' I went pure "YATTA!~", or in great cheer that it's finally here. Awesome! Fireworks are finally here.

I tried looking for the samurai armour yet couldn't find it in the loom. Was going to look in other crafting stations. Lumber looks awesome. Haven't tried out much, yet do love what oyu noted on the changelog.

When clicking on the musket ball in the crafting station I had a crash.

New batch of clothings have been confirmed.

Here's to hoping mining helmet at least works after seeing chainsaw having issues still. Desiring a samurai outfit after being teased it was 'ready' before these updates hit. :D

Do you desire to play Rising World in VR? Until it's officially supported by Red51 you can do the following trick to play Rising World, or any other game in 'fake' VR. I say fake because it's unofficial support that you have to take the long way around into making it work.

Disclaimer: You may have to tweak and map the controllers accordingly. I haven't gone far enough to test this that strange things may occur, your character may twirl, screen may 'rip', and etc. Follow this at your own risk. Stronger the computer, the better. The more you're personally informed about how this works, the better. Do your gaming research.

    Just a friendly suggestion:

Can you try condensing all this into one big posting? Once you reach a post limit then it makes sense to do what you're currently doing by chain posting. I however agree on the part where we need more interesting cave, cave terrain, and maybe some flooded cave sections.

Ocean whirlpools would be interesting, as with the river types you just showed.

    Merry Christmas from Arcticu Valley!

Merry Christmas, seasons greetings, and happy holidays! Arcticu Valley has been as festive as it could be with what's in the game that trees were placed in every settlement, presents were placed under them, and even colonized a winter biome in hopes of doing what I've done in the video.

Merry Christmas, and hope you enjoy Waveshapr's Christmas remix of the main menu. Hope I don't get in trouble for playing it in full in my video :D

Didn't see anybody else mention this before Avanar, yet shall mention it here that you guys should boot up the game to listen to the menu music before you play. I love that Christmas remix of the menu music. It's beautiful <3<3

I wish we could have the in game music on records, or something, so we can play it at will. I want to listen to that track that sounds like Skyrim ambient music in its isolated form. Funnily enough, that 'Skyrim-ish' track fits Rising World nicely, yet that's not why I'm posting. That Christmas menu music <3

    Merry Christmas! :D

I'll keep going with what I have going, yet still siding with desiring having coloured glass, glass blocks, glass panes, and the like. It would make life a whole lot easier, plus it would also encourage me to building colourful skyscrapers in both Mountain Bowl & Brisko Village. I agree with what you mentioned about glass blocks.

This is where Minecraft still wins over Rising World that I can't wait to either hear mention, or have it in game. Bonus points if having white line shine through coloured glass would make it go that colour. Minecraft had an issue where it couldn't do that, or something.

Well, I'm trying to work on a 'clever' build playing around with blue lights yet it's frustrating me because it seems like it's not the way I want them to.

I attached some images below that I assumed that all this time the small 'square' light could be placed to add coloured light, something I wish would give white light, as well as blue light. Blue light to shine against the glass, and the white light to brighten up the interior.

If we can't have more lights then I at the very least would love coloured glass to replace the blue lights I'm trying to have going on.

    For 1, 2, & 3.... thank you :D

I guess I can live with #4 then for that 'medium run' then.

Hmm... the pnb plugin is causing trouble after the latest update, but I don't think these issues are really related to that. Can you reproduce the problem?

Well, it's when you stand on them to get pushed up to then mass-spam them into place that it starts going all wonky. You see planks deforming, logs rotating in fixed positions, and it just desyncs so quickly on servers that it's quite noticable. You may want to try replicating building a cabin wall + roofing yet make it about 64 logs wide, or something. Something around a block's worth to then try and cover the 'roofing' until you see planks spazzing out.

I'm sure I can replicate this, yet I'd rather not. It'll happen either way. :D

When I spawn into a server I tend to 'float' up into the air before dropping back down. Seems like we're a bit high before we join the server.

    - Quokka

    https://twitter.com/Ilcapitano94/status/941860390849404929

I feel we need some eastereggs & comical Japanese RPG related comedy side of things to lighten moods that these Quokkas would do well for that. From what I'm seeing they love to be around humans, take selfies with tourists, and such that I'd welcome them, as with the racooons stealing from chests to add more life, immersion, and hilarity to the game. The small charms. Rising World wise that if they see you crouching with a camera they'd run over to you to take selfies. That be a fun mechanic.

    - Animals stealing Food:

    https://twitter.com/kio_TFFCC/status/940630336031014912

Prey animals should scout and analyze if they can steal food from your BBQ and such when it's unattended. If they see either you, players, or functioning humanoid NPCs they shouldn't bother. This is tying in with the above of adding in RPG elements to make the game more comical, immersive, and amusing that it be hilarious to see a wolf come in to cautiously, yet swiftly, snatch cow meat off your BBQ or campfire. Or even a wolf coming in to take tomatoes off your farm, or something along those lines. Birds should go after corn.

I laughed when I saw a monster just come into multi-munch that meat off the Monster Hunters (Monster Hunter World) that it would have been a defeated feeling on the player's side. Observing it is however hilarious. :D:D:P

We need more RPG comical tones in the game, something that Red51 added the foundation towards via animals attacking players whom shoot both the musket and the rifle. That was the right step in the right direction. I was genuinely startled when an elephant came stomping towards me.

    - [0.9] - December Recollection:

Just taking a peak through my screenshot folder to see what's new in my world that I wanted to share it with whomever is lurking. It seemed waiting for the update made others and myself cranky that I do apologies for that, and for pushing for the update, yet the wait was indeed worthwhile. The trolls on Steam reviews took advantage of Red51 by calling him lazy, calling us "di**heads", yet what we gained was what we were promised. We clearly saw all the issues with the update when it came to pushing him to release it that I'm thankful and grateful it was pushed into the beta branch to test; From December 1st to the 5th that I thank Red51 and Waveshapr for their hard work. I love coming back to this game.

    - My Builds since then:

    • <Classified>
    • Lucir Farms: A farming extension of my build (First two images)
    • Shark's Domain: The top is only the tip of the iceberg with the rest hidden DEEP underground. The main part of it is in hell. (3rd image)
    • Blue's Resort: Simplicity, yet complex at the same time. Constantly changing, evolving, and adapting to new needs.
    • Old Player Model Memorial Park: Last image paying respect to our old player model while welcoming the new ones in. (mostly done, yet still WIP)

I'm trying to push my settlements into the Christmas mood that I'm hoping hoping those on my server shall do the same by "going with the flow". I'm trying to have fun with things now that the sound memory issue has been fixed. Thanks Red51! There's still many things I wanted to show, yet with the technical difficulties and such I was once again pushed to share only these.

    Hope you enjoyed!

New errors are appearing that I'll move them from the other thread back to here.......

    -------------

    1) Halfblock 107's patterns don't line up. (View below attachment).

    2) Wooden Torchholders are behaving funny with one reverting back to the original. Happened Twice (view attachment below in last row of inventory).

    3) Garden Torch says it can't be picked up; When you tap 'F' once more you can pick it up.

    4) Christmas trees need recipe changes to fit small, medium, and large variations.

    5) When you stand on PNB related materials it jumps you up causing it to spazz out. Try standing on beams to then be jumped up to see other elements deform. The more you do it the more likely it'll deform. Try making a log roof, or something.

Thanks guys. You guys are awesome :D

I'll add this in when I'm fully awake and able to focus on the various things I"m able to do. I know it's simple, yet want to do it right. Thanks again!

(Both Rising World & VRChat gaining a nice polite fandom/community that it's awesome. )

I'm seriouly considering changing to GTX, Nitrado's Support has gotten crappy and slow to respond, GTX is cheaper and the minimum users is 10.and they defaulted to a germany location and i have to pay extra to change it to USA.. FOR GET IT!.. any way...

thank you agan for all the fixes.

Yeah, at times I've been considering changing hosting as well that they even removed the download back-up for worlds option from the server hosting that they're really forcing you to stay there now. You have to download your files manually, something I've had to do in various "creative" ways. It's making me frustrated. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that they didn't receive the server files for a few hours, and if it still isn't up I'll plan on moving my hosting to a new server once I feel safe to it's to do so. They've really fumbled around too much.

A new update is now available, (hopefully) fixing most of the bugs ;) Server owners have to update their servers accordingly.

    Hotfix 2017-12-14 (0.9.1):

    • [New] Added Xmas hat
    • [New] New players spawn with default clothes now
    • [New] Added command "setclothing" to change the default spawn clothes for new players
    • [Change] Changed visibility of stack indicators on hotbar items
    • [Change] Wearing head gear no longer removes your beard
    • [Change] Improved sync of other players in multiplayer
    • [Change] Increased velocity of arrows (crossbow)
    • [Change] Posters are no longer visible through walls
    • [Change] Ammo can now be looted from dead bodies
    • [Change] Changed recipes for smelting furnaces
    • [Bugfix] Fixed sound memory leak
    • [Bugfix] Fixed primitive furnace, no longer has "invisible" coal latch

Those are the ones that interest me the most. Nice new Christmas hat for us to be festive with. Would be awesome to have a suit to go with it. The default clothing seems to be handy now, and I bet I saw the comment that complained about "nudity" in games on the steam news section. Those comments bug me. Glad we can however change it, yet shall leave it default because that seems the best way to go about things.

Sweet! Glad the stack indicator finally been fixed, yet have to see it in the game to be sure. That's been a long time nuisance that I had to keep looking around to highlight it. I'm even happy with the head gear bit not removing the beard.

Velocity and being able to loot crossbow arrows from dead bodies is something I secretly wanted to request, happy it's been done. It feels less expensive to make and loot that it feels more worthwhile to shoot. Posters not visible through walls is also awesome.

Memory leak is the biggest one that I'm now waiting on Nitrado to update the server files so I can test this out properly. There's things I want to tackle.

Thanks for looking into getting it fixed. I'll check it out whenever you managed to upload it and whenever I can fiddle with it. I hope Blue shall also have a smoother experience as well.

Now, if only WIndows 10 can stop being idiotic I could play without uninterrupted play that ever since they updated Windows 10 the last few weeks my computer keeps randomly restarting. There was one yesterday where I was trying to reach a new guy on the server when my computer just randomly rebooted to update that I found it highly annoying and rude. No warning..... They made windows's shutdown feature behave like snooze mode that I find it annoying..... It's out of your reach to fix it, yet shall take the Rising World fix happily.

Can't wait to experiment with making ship piers & docking areas similar to Ylands.
