[Expectations:]
If, and when we do past year 2 of this game to reach "completion"....Basically bonus objectives for late-game fun.
1) "Budget" Space Program: I would expect this space program to be more "commercial" (not NASA, yet satellite style) with us building more miniature styled rockets & shuttles. Nothing silly like in Galacticraft, but more European Space Program or JAXA style. Verizon maybe.
2) Space Size: Basically infinite with the ability to only bring stuff up there. Should be somewhat "Kerbal Space Program" style and not so "Space Engineer" with distance actually being felt. You should however be able to "fly" to the moon, Mars, and etc but with actual effort put into it. Once you venture far it should then get more "playful" with "fictional" sci-fi entering in for the easteregg fun of it all. However you want to read it.
3) Colonization: Basic forms of colonization could be done with "space life" being a priority. Needing to constantly shuttle between your Rising World area & back would be interesting with oxygen & food. Being able to self-sustain would be neat also using achievable real-world technology. (Discovery Channel)
3.1) Space Stations: Wanting to avoid "Space Enginneers" to make space "Void", yet wanting the fun of space to be inserted with points 1-5 backing it all up as a whole. Being able to build space station parts on land to then shuttle up to space would be sweet. Even from Moon & Mars into space itself to then lock into chunks, or float around planets.
4) Flags & Banners: Being able to bring a default or customized flag would be a neat way to colonize whatever you're aiming for.
5) Rendered World/Map: This should allow the ability to digitally render a map in-game, as with outside of the game through exporting. You should be able to finally see your world by making use of space-tech & satellites you pop up there for GPS technology. You should even be able to see your world from a colonized moon, or a carefully crafted space station that may or may not be possible.
