That's something that could be looked into. Makes me wonder though.....

    ---------

Still do hope we can build ships on shore-lines & in drydocks to build them up piece-by-piece, similar to how Ark: Survival Evolved does its hut building. Basically to fill in ghost sections of the ship to see it being built up. If we can't then that be a real shame.

What I wanted to post about was the whole water physics with how one could 'drain a lake', if so desired. Imagine that, draining a lake to even flood caves & caverns. That's what Red said which had me thinking how you could use liquid storage tanks (even liquid carts for train transport) to make a man-made lake, to gradually drain lakes, or portions of an ocean to salvage sunken ships. Imagine patching up ships that have sunk by draining where the ship sunk to gradually repair & refloat it in a costly operation in a resource meaning. To make a vessel sea-worthy once again, then gradually righting it back onto its side to then make use of again. Maybe even possible ship-wrecks to claim as your own by making it sea-worthy that it could be towed & used as a museum piece back home, or something.

I'm imagining using a WW2 era destroyer on either Canadian, German, or Dutch (modded most likely; a scooner, sail boat, or similar works) to then create concrete walls that you would eventually break. Imagine having air tanks, scuba-gear, and etc to place & destroy blocks to control the water. You'll have more trouble in deeper water, yet should work Pearl Harbour style with their WW2 vessel type of thought.

I just can't help imagining WW2 vessels (Destroyers, and smaller) in this game, even ones you could mess around with by actually firing their deck guns, secondaries, and even sending torps off. Not the scale Red is seeking, just something I'm desiring in a mod while hoping the rest is in vanilla of being able to drain, repair, and refloat. Even using trains & etc to 'drain lakes' clean. Oceans would be trickier.

I hope it's both real & a fun concept. I've been burned too many times that I don't have faith in EA (USA or Canada). If we can indeed fly around on a whim by doing what we want (Star Wars Galaxies) then my faith shall be restored. If we can even build homes & etc then that be even better. I enjoyed building homes, taming native creatures, even mining ores.

Alright, ya...Had to delete the previous two to simply my post....

    1) I'd be happy with wherever the game spawns me. It can be desert, swamp, and etc.
    2) I keep having desert thoughts with WW2 jeep. Basically an Indiana Jones thought.
    3) Check this site out that was shared to me to get your RW daydreaming juices flowing. All those beautiful ripe scenery for RW to replicate. http://aktualne.atlas.sk/obraz…u/showbizz/vystavy/foto/1 - Enjoy!

There are several different biomes, including forests, deserts, rainforests and snowy landscapes. In addition, there are several transition biomes, such as steppes, tundras and savannahs, which form the links between the individual biomes.

Ozzy, this is what we both wanted to say. Not bad, and we were close.
    - Forest: So, basically a taiga without water.
    - desert: Nice on that, yet curious if one or many styles.
    - rainforest: A must, and something to look forward to. Imagine all those nasty bites you'd get.
    - snowy landscapes: Canada! How brutal shall it be? Hopefully snow accumulates.
    - Steppes: So basically central Canada & similar areas.
    - Tundra: Sweet! Canada & Europe's north. Looking forward to this to reenact Canadian & Alaskan survival films and such.
    - Savannahs: These would be sweet in RW manner. Minecraft was nice, yet this should be more awesome in this game. Could be ideal for my Arcticu City heh.
    - Also plans for a 'fantasy biome' that may or may not see light.

Alright! Now happy with my posts. Looking forward to the post-biome biome update to add what I'm seeing of Norway's gorgeous scenery & other places. Even on the mod side of things.

Well......I did post it twice (once on steam & once here) that we're going to be seeking to fly aircrafts in a survival manner sooner or later with our colonizations. I'm not expecting it, more so with the render distance and how it would hit the system hard. Just that Red51 shall be hearing more of it the deeper he shall be going into development so I'm just being a 'devil's advocate' type person with players siding against Minecraft to make this game stand out. I'm also itching for such when thinking of Rising World's future, especially with the distances you'll have to travel. With larger distances, the more people shall seek quicker methods of travel to get back to their area, especially in other types of roles it'll play.

I'm going to basically echo what I've seen others mention also that if Red is to add any aviation type, that it should be an airship (steampunk) type, or a propeller type. I'll list them below, just not the airship with it already suggested & considered.

    -----

    - Plane Type - Propeller:

[For those seeking to push Rising World, and fly, would want to see some sort of plane. I recommend the Twin-Otter over the three for it's multi-purpose abilities, more so in multiplayer. If we're going to have planes then I would highly recommend chosing prop planes, especially ones that has proven itself to be overly useful & should be more resource friendly on the computer when compared to jet aircraft. Not suggesting the Cessna because it's a dated piece of crap that never bothered to modernize itself. They should be slow, yet reliable while allowing the chunks to load below them.]

    - Twin-Otter - Three Variants: Land type being the most common & smaller of the three. The float (water) varient being larger to carry people, and may be configured to carry more cargo. There is also a snow-ski version that can be mixed between the two to make this plane be a heavy-use backbone aircraft for people's server. It's role can me viewed as a survival-explorer, cargo delivery, passenger transporting, and rescue plane. It has a very short take-off and landing radius that you can pretty much treat this plane similar to it's Grand Theft Auto 5 counterparts with a few feet needed. For the snow variant, I would just leave it to equipping the normal one with the snow skis to then take off with a tool at your area you made an 'airport' at which should it simplified in a way. The skis should lift to allow landing on warm land.

    - DHC-4 Caribou: Another STOL (Short take-off & landing) aircraft to recommend to the survivalist wanting to transport cargo & people around the map. This one could specialize in long-haul cargo flights for the map for the more busy servers. More of a land aircraft that any other 'Coast Guard' or 'rescue' purposes being limited.

    - DHC-5 Buffalo (CC-115): Same as the above two, just that it shares more ties with the Caribou. Unlike the Caribou, this plane can be configured with equipment to 'track' lost adventurers. Basically meant as a 'search & rescue' aircraft while also being a STOL aircraft. A back-bone to rescue, treat, & mend patience with accidents. That type of role can easily be carried over into servers for role-play fun.

-> Twin Otter & Buffalo videos under spoiler:

    ----------

    - Helicopter Type:

[I would assume that these helicopters would be far more resource friendly on the computer with their slower & more controllable abilities. The ability to hover, double-back, and etc. These could be used to transport much needed supplies to hard-to-reach locations, even ocean bases, that they would be quite a nice asset to players. Again, could be given that 'search & rescue' ability on servers to find & rescue players.]

    - NH90: A very modern German-European helicopter meant for a military role, yet could be put into civilian use. Suggesting this because it could be used as a heavy 'search & rescue' helicopter to also transport people around their heavily built settlements. Basically to ship supplies quickly, to rescue those lost, and to also assist with light construction. Anything when you become resourceful with your vehicles.

    - Bo 105: A more civilian manner for some general scouting and exploration. For those that choose to travel could use this mode of transportation to plan their builds without having to go into creative mode. Basically to also get into places that planes & other vehicles can't.

    - MBB/Kawasaki BKK 117: Same as the Bo 105, just another type to choose from when compared to the NH90 & Bo 105.

    --------

    - Map Rendering Issues & GPS:

    1) Render issue:
Being far too familiar with the type of lag & chunk loading I could see Red51 holding off on this for about 2 years or so. I have Pixelmon & Traincraft (mods for Minecraft) to both tell me that games like these have issues with flying and the way chunks load There's also a new recent game called Lego Worlds also with vehicles & mounts that is exploring this, just not yet where they should behave yet. I'm simply worried for Rising World with the amount of detailing it shall be going to, especially in heavily populated areas. You'll have to build airports or operate these planes outside of people-populated areas to make the most use of them, if on a lower PC. Pixelmon & Railcraft both suffered with this issue with chunks loading slow, same with the mounts & carts bouncing, jerking, and rubber-banding. Worried for planes in Rising World for this reason. I'm hoping in the long run that the planes shall outway the cons with them being able to supply cargo, transport people long distances, and even rescuing lost players occasionally.

    2) GPS:
The way I could see people not becoming lost is to basically insert a GPS within the cockpit by tagging their 'home' location. Would also help if the cockpits were 3D (FSX) while behaving in a more arcade manner in controls. I don't expect flight sim, just enough to fly & land. For the rendering & navigation I would highly recommend having your planes be equipped with GPS, even if you have to insert it as an after-plane built object. Having to personally insert it to navigate around the terrain to read your personal GPS device. Here, you can 'hard-set' your home airport to then choose where you want to travel on the map (think Skyrim & GTA 5 here) with you then being able to have some form of guidance. The 'hard-set' the other hot-points, you would have to add & lock them in through an option similar to how you hide bodies, but in the GPS. This option would be most useful, more so, when weather is added & when you're flying blind without chunks.

I guess one could also recommend flying high to make sure one does not hit the terrain below, and to become familiar. This is where the GPS becomes useful to also guide you with a 'straight to the point' GPS. Just a line you'll try to keep on to make sure you reach your Skyrim + GTA 5 straight line. It doesn't have to know if there is an unexplored chunk, just be able to guide you in a line from Point A to point B. That, and setting 'markers' to make note of where you may have built your airport.

(For those with low-end PCs should stick to trains. Let's have some competition that way by making both land & air vehicles useful!)

    -------------

Again, not fully expecting these planes. Same with those exact types. Would be nice if they were those makes, just that I'd expect some 'originality' that is aimed at slipping past copyrights & licenses & all that mess. If they're added then these planes may make digital Rising World life easier when traveling distances & to reach spots one would have issues reaching. Imagine the speed of colonization when people play pure survival. I'm basically imagining wild bush-life while being able to ship a good amount of cargo at the same time. Rising World is also to blame for having this kind of potential, and same for Pixelmon, and now Lego Worlds for spoiling the crap out of me for something vanilla MC failed to explore. This should be good because it should push Rising World also. What I'm viewing would benefit this game in the long run with less people seeking cheaty teleports.

I'm also 100% certain that people shall be pushing for this to make Rising World overly superior to others.

While stumbling through YouTube I came across some news videos of EA Canada working on an 'open world' Star Wars game. If so, this should be awesome if they make it as free as the Star Wars Galaxies MMO, just in a more modern manner and take. Star Wars: Empire at War, just in a more vast & fun RPG manner of things. If it's a 'theme park crap' (*cough*SWTOR*cough* then I'm losing more and more respect for the North American gaming studios. The wording has been also clear that this is a project next to the next-gen Battlefront game.

EA Canada is making an open world Star Wars game while being a mystery project of its own......

Please! For the love of god, would you stupid Canadian & American gaming companies please heavily inspire from Star Wars Galaxies & KOTOR by making this 'open world' ACTUALLY OPEN! The fun in the whole thing is exploring on your own while taking up randomly generated missions and such while not being in a damn linear gameplay. That's what made SWG fun. Learn this already! Europeans & Japanese are trying to do this also, yet we North Americans are stuck in a linear pile of crap! Look at Star Wars Galaxies with the Jump to Lightspeed expansion! Merge, modernize, and make it a proper free-roam game! These North American gaming studios constantly making the same mistakes with me & other gamers constantly getting burned >_<

Hoping with Rising World maturing enough that we can try and consider adding in Star Wars vehicles & such to pick up where EA Canada might fail. My confidence in them (EA & EA Canada) right now is at a low point right now....I'd say 20% confidence. I'd be happy with an AT-AT or an AT-ST in Rising World at the least.....

[Note: Sorry, no sources because it's being kept as a mystery game by EA Canada.....I can't find anything relevant. Sorry for being late to the party also.]

Now curious if & how I would build the Lego Worlds version. I guess in a more "deformed" and "fun" manner. Less functional than both Minecraft & Rising World versions with more experimentation. More loose & fun hmm.

Wanted to share some nice found images on the screen folder that shows great potential for this game. Even a nice quote from the developer who supports the idea of some 'survival' & possibly 'adventure' mode. Neat stuff

    - Quote from TTLoc:

Having high hopes for both these European developers (RW trio included). Please show Europeans can make games far more entertaining than the North American ones that enjoy burning you at every turn

The older you get, and the more time you managed to allocate, the more you want out of your games. This is being more true after playing games that secured a strong foothold for others to climb higher, and in greater detail. Rising World placed itself on a high level that I can't help but expect being snowed in now thanks to the feature page, and because Minecraft never included that. It did lightly, just not fully. Modding did it, just that I never gotten around to toying with it.

It's just more fun when you're being pressured and battered to come out victorious on the other end of all what others consider to be "tedious". Eustress! I happily did my resource pilgrimages into new settlement, even surviving mobs that others had to put on peaceful. Bring on the challenge of surviving in the desert & snow! When going into peaceful mode things felt awkward. I guess myself and Ozzy shall find ourselves fighting the snowy digital elements with us digging out of the snow, if that ever becomes a feature :D

Damn straight it's exciting! I do apologies for the spam postings but you can have your silence on Monday onward haha! I can't wait to see & hear the new awesome features. The "thrill of the hunt" or something like that.

[Note: I'm not trying to berate people. Just simply saying that you'll feel more awesome when you steam through what you consider to be 'tedious'. You'll learn ways to become 'better' at it. The fun is in the challenge.]

Seeing as how this is Rising World this should open up some nice unique ways to get out. I agree with you folks.

    1) Claw hook + rope: Throw this in the direction you want to climb to then 'aim' and throw. You can now climb up, as if on a ladder.
    2) Simple mechanical hook: The type you fire out of a gun (modern) you could easily move around.
    3) Rope Ladder: Could easily drop down a rope ladder next to an opening to then allow yourself & others to drop in and out of the cave as any other ladder.

People going to be getting trapped more often, especially with biomes going to be added & added onto. I can also find a multi-purpose use to this of climbing your WIP structures. Patch in those holes while making stairways when digging down! Accidents do happen though with some survival rope needing to be added.

Pleased to hear that. Again, best view of it was on the ground with the 'over-view' just capturing where I was forced to abandon it. Can't see all the items I had inside it. Amused you consider her cute. Nice. Ya, she's a major influence so I'm hoping for the very best on the NPC Trader options.

Same here! The itch & hype is real (so are the issues at hand). I really do hope they shall be 'legendary' heh. If I can live-stream, Steam broadcast, or similar in autumn or winter then that be absolutely perfect! I'll do the occasional Youtube tours as tests & to gather attention for the curious.

(Also fixed a little typo above: - Arcticu City (Main city) - Kitsu (spawn town) - Kyuukon (farming, mining, & traveler's resting spot). Time to recreate those three in Rising World while expanding it to add others. And yes, this shall be all done in survival mode because that's where the fun tends to be. This being my grand survival challenge heh)

(Off-topic: I do recommend playing Minecraft vanilla, just that you'll have to keep an open mind. It is indeed empty in home decoration (yet is nicely populated world wise) still because Mojang prefers to be sloppy, yet it's still great fun. The best part of Minecraft is when you play with your friends, and just your friends on anything. I had my fun in deep survival & mods. When you don't tense up like a spoiled lemming tantrum child then Minecraft can be so much fun with people sadly tensing up like a spoiled lemming child copying other people's opinions. Rising World is the next step, or 5, above Minecraft so I'm having high hopes. Rising World is basically "Feed The Beast", but Skyrim to me in it's nice own high-quality manner.)

    ----------

That's exactly it! I hoard anything that pops into my inventory that I need to chest "EVERYTHING!" for that it shall become useful eventually. Dirt, grass, leaves, coal, mushrooms, seeds, and etc. Anything I could pick up would be chested because it had value in my Empire. Amusingly enough, so did dirt. I needed LOADS of dirt to fill in the swamp & desert in both V1 & V3 versions. Dirt is precious. Everything is! I needed to erect a storage building (look in my 'Arcticu City' thread in the media subforum and you'll see this three-part building on the bottom-right in the second posting of attachments)....That building was going to store all the resources on the map throughout the years. That's what I'm going to find myself doing in Rising World.

Now add this onto the desire to collect & display, and you'll see why I want fossils to dig up, clean, and build into skeleton displays heh. Not something for me either. It's for the other also. Thanks to Minecraft's modding & the Arks: Evolved Survival I now want to ride around on Raptors also in the very late game. Something stupid but something fun we should be able to do for the hell of it.

If it's what I'm seeing in these images, and with static water, then that should be glorious. I'm not expecting it to be like - this - right away, just that it would be awesome if it was. Nice rivers and small lakes to mess with to then allow fishing months later heh. That Taiga biome shall be awesome if it's close to that image in any way. Just having a nice Canadian cabin to call home while away from both physical & digital cities heh. You and hostile nature.

That sounds like what I did with Arcticu City & Kyuukon 'village' (I said 'Kitsu'; that's my starter town. I meant Kyuukon). I had all my main stuff in Arcticu City while 'Kyuukon' behaved more like a mining, farming town, & a traveler's stop town. I'd shuttle goods from this mining, farming, and traveling town to bring goods to Arcticu City because I had all this land to play with. Land is precious in Arcticu City when buildin grand. Linking it up with trains, cars, trucks, and maybe even helicopters (cargo) & planes (Twin Otter) would be swell. If I can get a small airport that be swell heh.

I love your idea that you would travel between biomes in that tedious manner. I kept doing that while others were yawning & panting in Minecraft. I would happily build hiking trails, cycling paths, and all sorts of stuff in the way you mentioned from one wild biome part to the next. That similar vibe to 'carrying all your resources from one base to the next' in Minecraft where you risk losing all. Best feeling, even if I found people complaining about it.

Oh! I wish the snow biome had snow that would accumulate if we're getting water physics. If it snows then the snow should build up at random to force us to shovel, snow-plow, and etc. Others would be against it but as a Canadian I think we need to add that 'fun' for the survival aspect. The aspect of getting snowed in while having to keep your trail fresh to keep hunting. Look at all those Alaska shows with how people use their same path throughout the winter to survive. Wild-life choose to venture onto main-roads because it's a 'path of lease resistance'. Not expecting it upon release, just that something that needs to look into. Imagine hauling goods then getting snowed in :whistling:

Making me overly curious which types of biomes we're getting as basics. Guess I'll take Ozzy's word for it with a grain of salt.

    - Desert - Savannah - Taiga - Tundra - Swamp -

Something like that, eh? I hope they take quite a bit of time to travel through one. The desert biome is an interesting one because Google images shows it can go 4 different ways or more, especially with Rising World's freedom & potential. This one is so vague that you can get soft sand + tropical trees, dry cracked soil with void, the vast hilly soft sand, and the light USA Vegetation type. That's an extra few biomes with the 3-4 of the other ones. Will Red go that far? I guess it might be something as simple as a typical soft sandy biome that's also in 'SkySaga'.

Taiga is also a fun one because a river is supposed to go through overly dense forest with the occasional empty patches in my lovely Canadian side of things  . Would love to canoe through that in this game. Same with the tundra version of it in both forested & cleared with Skyrim type scenery. Making me curious on the vanilla side of Rising World of what to expect for them.

I guess I should wait it out for suspense and surprise. Making me overly curious to see if Red is going for quality basics or going that extra mile from January when dealing with biomes. Biomes need more care, thus me being curious. I can't wait for autumn when I can finally try for a new damn computer + this game.

Feel free to ignore this. I however need a place to post & I don't want to keep making new threads so I'll treat this post as a bookmark for possible vehicles that could find themselves added in vanilla or modded form. You know, just for the extra fun to insert more variety into the game. I also need a place to put this for when modding is finally implemented for those that may or may not want to add in vehicles. If the links break then at the least you'll know what it's called. Probably a copyright things anyways that it might either have to be unmarked to their maker, or truly 100% a mod addition. Hope they can be used as an inspiration for Red's unique vehicles of his own.

    -----

    - Vehicles to consider, or inspire from:
[These being unique vehicles not seen in the main market.]

(Blame TV commercials & Rising World's potential for this & the helicopter post. Now going back to lurking.)

    ------

Makes me wonder if they're too 'cheaty' too add into the game with me not knowing how Red originally wanted Rising Worlds to be. I feel that that what I mentioned would be more of a mod addition adding, possibly even simplifying Rising World's digital lifestyle in a year or three's time. Again, it's up to Red & the modders in later months as to what they want to do. I'll keep editing fun vehicles to consider.

Same. Just vote what you want to vote for with the mode of transportation that you believe suits you best/you prefer. Hope I'm not skewing the voting in any way with the boating bit.

Also, I'm tunneling visioning a lot that I thought of prop planes last night while completely forgetting about helicopters. I'd say Twin Otters would suit the prop plane area while a European made helicopter fitting the helicopter bit. Germans had fun inventing, polishing, and such that they should feel proud of such in their own game by adding a German make into their game. Tried searching around with me constantly coming back to the NH90 Helicopter as a 'multi-purpose' (transport of people & light supplies) that this helicopter seems appropriate. If no planes then at the least a helicopter for air assistance and rescues aimed at multiplayer experiences & hauling of light goods. Again, expecting this around the time when the game is considered complete so there's no pushing or rushing. Just that we're 'trying' to help make this game awesome. Trying to properly research proper helicopters & aircraft that would seem appropriate fora game like this, again with Red choosing what he wants in the end. If he wants to have fun in the post-release, or through modding even, we can have all sorts of props & helicopters. Getting to ahead of myself so shall keep it 'short' with the below.

    Helicopter choices (German): NH90 - MBB Bo 105 - MBB/Kawasaki BK 117

Agreed. I rambled about the oceans & boats - here - with us really needing to see more. If they're a big feature that we should have fun treating them as such by making a shipyard/dry-dock of various kinds to build them with the resources we gain. Loving your input, Winddbourne.

Having these fossils would be a nice decorational bonus, especially to those that enjoy complaining Minecraft should have had this in vanilla. At the least, I wouldn't mind seriously suggesting this on a fun note that it should be purely decoration in that ACNL manner. Just gather the bones up, clean them up, plaster & copy to replicate them for other museum uses, and stick them together in a museum somewhere. Should be neat. The decoration part should be taken seriously.

The part that should be taken comically being how you can revive them using lost dungeon technology to bring back a 'rare' dino, even as a mount. Not expecting it, just that it 'might' be fun in the late game of things.

I'm a resource hoarder & a collector so I'd love to collect more things in this game. I'd love to proudly display whatever loot I get.

I don't mind seeing trains & minecarts in the lead. Planes & airships were originally not supposed to be in the game's main design, yet would be neat in the long run as a late-game unlock type of thing. Neither NPC followers being considered with Red preferring to add NPC Traders only, yet me constantly nudging him to crack to add it in the late half of the gaming production. I do agree that Rising World has a great potential and complexity that it could happily welcome both the prop plane side of things & the NPC followers to make it more unique. To stand out from the rest. If anything, I'm overly worried that boats aren't being enjoyed as a thought. Each to their own.

Also, be very careful with how you use "Another Minecraft" or "A clone of Minecraft" because I've seen people use that as much as they would with meme's in a blind manner. Yes, we do not need another clone, just that I've seen loads of it in the 'Lego Worlds' Steam forums with people's points being automatically voided with false paranoia & etc. This is obviously not Minecraft, and we now know that. Sheath the sword because you'll poke an eye out with that.

But ya....I wonder how well prop planes (Twin Otter) shall work & behave in a game like this.....It's small, it's multi-purpose, and it can handle land, sea, & snow. You can happily carry people & cargo, as you would in a car & other vehicles. I would love to find a German varient, yet never looked into such. If, and when, we do get prop planes I can happily rebuild my airport hubs in my rebuilt settlements. Same with supplying other places that refuse to build roads & railways. Something to enjoy when passing through oceans & mountains, among other odd terrains. Further away the better vehicles one seek, and I don't want to look into teleporting.

Something I asked on Steam forums with me curious what kind of mode of transportation you prefer for this kind of game. I guess it's too early also so I shall allow you to change your votes as time goes on. You can change your voting during the development of Rising World, if one remembers to keep viewing it. Doubtful.

My Steam polling also being rubbish with me rambling on so now using this forum's polling.....

    - Confirmed or implied To be In Game: Horses, camels, trains, hang gliders, & cars.
    - Not confirmed As Main Game's Feature: Submarines, boats (implied yes?), vans, trucks, airships & prop planes. No bikes, motorbikes, mopeds, or scooters either. (Currently up in the air)

    -------------

My bias is going straight into trains. Every time I build in these games it's always a train network. It's just easy to get from one point to the next, if you manage to keep the track straight-forward. Minecraft's traincraft spoiled me with this so I'm hoping for more features from these trains. They've been implied in the features page as "above ground" so I'm looking forward to that. All those possibilities for both steam & diesel trains, along with appropriate liquid & solid cargo carts to pull around the map. With third & hunger things shall also be fun to haul supplies around to keep fed in game.

Edit: If you're thinking of Helicopters then just simply vote the "Airship & prop plane" voting. Feel free to mention if you voted for helicopters saying how you feel about them.

You're welcome :) Oh, excellent. I can't wait to break ground & to expand it into its full city finally. All in survival of course.

Hmm....I really am curious with how Red shall program the biomes because that also has a strong input into how I design this city. The main layout still hopefully being the same with the 'rich' (touristy) parts being in a "T" shape with the more 'industrial' side most likely going in a "U" shape surrounding that. Even the tree choices has me being overly curious while hoping for either scenic or exotic type trees that bloom or are static. Ideal being plains on the ocean side of things, yet me settle into a desert biome to make that a 'green' paradise, as I tried doing before. Rising Worlds obviously going to be much different in that part with how biomes behave. Building the two statues in Rising World shall be tricky with me with me most likely needing an avatar template to work off of from someone's else's build.

Also amused with the comment with you mentioning an arctic Fox pet bringing me tools. That be overly comical when you hold the appropriate block-type in your hand heh. Also attached an image of Arcticu City in V3 (missing the out-skirt portions) to get some general idea of what to expect. What isn't shown is how the two roads meet back up behind that 'Canadian Tower' being the only thing actually completed. Was left with what you see in that image. Varakitsu is also to the right in statue form in her summer wear, also in the second attachment that I'm hoping to have as 1) A roaming NPC Trader at the least, or 2) The former + being able to be 'recruit-able' to go on hunts as a comrade/follower to assist with gathering resources (not mining) and hunting tasks.

    - Extra Trivia:

My cities were to be themed for various Busou Shinki figures made by Konami before they became evilly idiotic. Arcticu City was to be themed to my avatar, Shinki Renge, with her red & white theme on an old server. Renge being the mascot to Arcticu City; Kitsu Village (spawn town) to foxes (Varakitsu); & Kyuukon to the Ninetales Pokemon (farming & mining). The Empire I build is themed in a mixture of Canadian, Busou Shinki, & Japanese fox folklore. A 'militaristic Canada' in a more sci-fi & supernatural tone.

(Renge is also in the embedded image to the left with Varakitsu to the top right in large statue form in first image. If we do get customizable statues, I do hope I can instead customize them to then form a mini-shrine type deal to worship their smaller forms. A monument, or similar. Second image being of Vara to get a basic of what I'm seeking to add when RW is matured enough.)

I'm glad there's a 10,000 character limit. Keeps things as short as a skirt. Thanks to it I couldn't mention if I could go all out with the library idea of being able to insert both text & custom images into it also, or if just text. It's something that's making me wonder if my library shall be more decorational or actually functional. I could go into more detail in there than in these confusing postings.

(Apologies for not posting Rising World exclusive content. I really do want to post them. Autumn being the time when I can finally do such so I'm hoping this is the seed that spawns the roots to allow the images to be the trunk & branches. A tree metaphor basically. Again, this is a post aimed at Ozzy.)
