You're welcome. I feel guilty now that you're having to break down the brick wall. Loving the bathroom, finding the bedroom spooky with the paintings (in a good way) and like the additions to the courtyard.

No worries. I was waiting for someone to post so I could post something about the community. Have fun posting
Loosely Summing up Woodbourne's postings:
1) Having a console Minecraft styled tooltip or tutorial of some sort to know what to do with each block. Minecraft's PC Answer to this was to have a wiki, and a wiki we should have - http://rising-world.wikia.com/wiki/Rising_World_Wikia <- Found this on Reddit. Might want to possibly sneak in a bark scroll nudging players ahead a bit with a basic 'to-do' list, then on having the crafting table/bench do all the work.
2) I feel this is spoiled by Minecraft. I had to struggle with Skyrim's torch, or none at all, that players can simply get used to improvising or use features as they should. Kick that Minecraft mentality out of your brain and use the stand. Use a flashlight, or those tikki torches. I don't want Red to cave in and ruin this feature with the neat torch stand.
3) That 'fireplace' typo bugs me also. A 'campfire' should be called campfire, while the house fireplace should be called such.
4) Pigs in NPC Villages sounds like the way to go, or at least go with a wild boar you can domesticate. Gaining them from NPC villages would be the way to go for providing them with resources. They should be cautiously placed within their pig pan, even having an NPC grant you a little piglet, or how many you were able to barter for.
5) I can't play the game yet so I can't say. Having logs go into lumbers makes more sense while snapping branches should get you branches. (I'm out on this one).1.1) Hostile natives is something we've been trying to push Red into. People native to the land, even fantasy entities, and etc that made themselves at home on the planet we're on. They should be of both techs, even mixed and others for us to mess about with.
1.2) Tool Tips of with info. Again, I've seen this for Minecraft console, even the modded side of things with it telling you what you're looking at and what you can mind. This would be handy, maybe at the very beginner stage. Would be neat seeing health bars, and etc. If it is added, it should be disabled for normal difficulty and higher.

- My extended Thoughts:
I wanted to mention that if people are worried about Rising World to try and contribute whenever they can to boost its worth. Red and his buddies could make the best game they could, yet it could easily still fail within its true release. I doubt that will happen, though there's still a chance it could happen. If people are worried, and they can mod Rising World once it gains actual modding support may want to look into creating the following mod types to bring attention to the game........
- Pokemon Mod - Not to beat a dead horse silly....Nintendo is being retarded by not giving players what they want and have been vocal about. Players have been requesting a proper free-roamy game with this being suitable for such. Basically inspire from the Pixelmon mod of Minecrat and you'll have a nice glorious game to boast about on both the modding & vanilla side of things.
- KanColle Mod - One for the Anime side that one should not ignore, even if it is anime. The KanColle community is huge, just a bit on the docile side when it comes to making mods possibly because one could get sued if they made a "paid" game. KanColle is about WW2 Axis ships being turned into gorgeous 2D anime woman (reincarnated into woman because we see ships as woman) with lots of tragic moments being implied and shown. Once they're sunk, they're gone. I won't hold it against anyone if they find it weird, just that it would have happened anyways in both the Asian & Western market. Sadly, there's loads of ship girls and enemy Abyssals to mod in. Lots of work (on the Pokemon level) would have to be added. If great care is placed then the pay-off shall be well worth the risks and rewards. If it's a mod it should be all clear, and quite fun with what Red listed his water style would do. This mod would be in the green once modding support is enabled, more so when we have giant lakes and oceans to let them loose in. (If I could code or mod I would start this up myself.)
- WW2 Naval Mod - Straight up WW2 with no Anime. This is something I can see Rising World taking advantage of by adding in Canadian, German, Dutch, British, Italian, and Japanese vessels within. I've seen people itching greatly for WW2 naval games, this game also showing signs that it can eventually support such naval chaos once both modding & detailed ocean biomes are added. If they are added. You could easily go up against other players, even enemy vessels on a random encounter (semi-Minecraft spawn style). Going both in surface vessel, even submarine style, would bring loads of interesting fun. If you want to go wild you can add in various float-planes to go hunting with.
- Extra-Biomes - These mods tend to be a great hit for these kind of games. Adding in all sorts of crazy biomes, even detailed variety ones, goes a long way in expanding the fun. If you're bored of the vanilla then you can venture into the modded biomes, even fantasy ones. Again, having to bring up Minecraft's Mystcraft, Twilight Forest, Aether, ExtraBiomes, and etc added in on the fun and style.
- Star Wars (Land-mod) - For the fun of it, I thought I'd list this because anything Star Wars tends to go a long way in bringing fun to any game. The default going back to the original Star Wars. Others are also welcome. If you can gain any luck in modding in an AT-ST, AT-AT, or any Rebel equivalent then you can have some pretty interesting sessions to be had. Flying would be a bit tricky, unless you add in Bespin, with space being the next issue. Hence, why I labeled "land-mod" for all the Star Wars land-stuff. All those costumes you can wear, all those furniture, those monuments, and the vehicles you could pilot around. Star Wars: Battlegrounds & Star Wars: Empire at War both being two games to inspire from to carry into the game.
- Busou Shinki - Another Anime belonging to the overly hated, evil, and corrupted Konami. I've been wanting to make a Busou Shinki mod for Minecraft, yet failed. Been wanting to add in little 15cm tall battle robots from Konami's line into Minecraft, now into here with me irritated I can't handle coding efficiently. Tackle this and you just might gain a large enough following for how Busou Shinki units tend to behave: Free-thinking, both battling and casual use (non-battle & non-perverted), able to be customized, and able to do combat. Some can even fly, swim, and even cut things. They just might be the little helpers you're looking for. For those that do mod this shall gain a nice amount of respect that Konami never gain their fanbase. You would be doing people a large favour that you just might be considered a god (I want to mod this the mod, but too retarded for both MC & RW's style of modding.)
- SkyBiome - This being loosely tied into #4, yet something sandbox games tend to ignore because we're that much of a land-lover. Minecraft mods bit into this quite a bit, just not enough to gain full attention. Aether (Heaven mod) was the only one that truly gained my attention. If someone could mod in biomes, creatures, and mounts then they would be doing Rising World a great service, one that goes ignored by others. Being able to explore a biome above you goes along way in adding into the fun, the lore, and adventures people tend to tell. [Bonus if you can have the biome fade in and out of people's vision by making it go invisible from distances by only keeping colourful auroras.]
- Follower/Comrade Mod - Even though Red was hesitently warm to the idea, I feel that we shall be needing a complex "Followers" mod for people. Basically one where you could befriend stranded and wandering NPCs to your group, maybe even on a limit to how many you can have tagged onto your player. What would they do? (Search up "Littlemaidsmod" for reference; I never played with it, yet wanted to.) They would fish for you, harvest food for you, and even cook for you. They shouldn't do more than that in chores. As for fighting, they should join you while tending to both their and your health, thirst, and equipment durability.
- (Rising World is still far too young so there's no telling if, and when it shall gain mods. You would be doing other Rising World fans if you could tackle at least one of these 'major' mods, even other communities. You would attract and respect from those you never expected. My respects goes out to those that do mod. I'm wishing RW would release some sort of user-friendly mod tool so I could do some modding of my own instead of appearing like I'm barking orders.)
Well, for the modders in the community......You have the power to make & break Red's game so wield your powers responsibly. You can make Rising World far more awesome, or you can force the gamers to stick to Rising World. I do hope you use your skills for the 'greater good' by tackling at least one of the above, or one of your original mods. I know it's also too soon to be nudging you into this so I'll wait till 2016, or even 2017 for all the modding support and nudgings. I hope I don't have to request people to do what's listed above with them just doing what they love on their own. Best fun comes when people do things on a whim also, and I am looking forward to what people have to mod when this game matures to that point.(I'll be honest and say that #2 & 6 having a love-bias on my end. Having those two though should boost Rising World's popularity by a noticeable amount, more so on the Japanese side...That is if Red wants a nice Japanese following. There's a nice big chunk around the world for Busou Shinki also.....)
/salute to modders

An interesting place to settle down. I love the style in image 7 & 8. I think I shall now be seeing myself in the future building in that style. It's awesome. Should replicate what you have in your forge area into your garden area (the one with the tree) to replicate that style, or so I'd suggest. Quite nice.
-
I'm hating my mind right now because it sees what Rising World could or 'might' be with what's listed on the 'features' page and etc. This one is on the modding side of things with me just groaning & facepalming at my own mind teasing the hell out of me.....It's harassing me with what could be added into Rising World once everything matures & settles in, even with the necessary ocean biomes.
HMCS Haida - http://www.hmcshaida.com/ - If I wasn't so modding-ignorant I'd be happily trying to add this beauty of a ship into this game to patrol the shorelines of whatever settlement in and around my area. Not in Anime manner, in it's actual ship shape. I'd happily sail it around in modern age with that bonus points earned from rigging the weaponry to fire appropriately. Imagining how I'd try and build it on a land's drydock to then flood the place and have it sail around the ocean biome, patrolling the coastline. Just the whole shape of it being seen from a nearby settlement catching other players off guard, or just seeing it sitting at port.
Bonus Points: Bonus points coming from making this vessel actually explorable within, even able to fire. Making the bunks sleepable, even able to store resources within. Even having enemy vessels to fire at. If anything, I'd expect German WW2 Destroyers to be in the game over HMCS Haida with the trio making this game, but on top of that I'd expect this to be a mod and not a vanilla item. If it was a vanilla item then holy hell, they'll gain a giant set of respect points from me alone.
Bonus #2 - Enemies: Oh, I don't know. Both Medieval & Modern era pirates with wooden, pure-iron, and even modern-era ships from WW1 till today. Take your pick at any 'common' enemy types. I'd be expecting wooden ships over anything else in vanilla context; Everything in modded context.
----
I'm just itching for another good naval game that Rising World just now hits all the awesome niches with the features planned and what is within it. It has what Minecraft struggled to reach with this being more appropriate in that more 'Skyrim' 3D appearance of medieval & modern-tech stuff. I can actually see this kind of mod being birthed with WW2 vessels being piloted around ocean biomes, even into lakes. Being built on land to then nudge into the waters. Building dry-docks to even have fun controlling the water to use real-world materials to repair ship damages.
My mind is evil that I'm picturing Rising World as a perfect base for having this 'easteregg' (even in modding context) to add Canadian & German vessels. Also, not to be rude, but Americans had way too much fun that I much rather see Canadian & German destroyers in this 'fun' idea for vanilla and/or modding. I hate my mind, but I'm now itching to see a Canadian Destroyer in RW.
(I hate being modding & coding retarded. Even when I try my mind brainfarts on almost everything coding wise. It's stopping me from adding so many fun things into various games.........)
-
Oh! Those old viking structures with the hay & straw roofs. Same style for Asian themed builds (this including Middle-East styles). If we can have those, if not in there, that be perfect.
I also agree that the game needs more fun from imagination. It needs to let loose, have fun, and to stretch its feet every so often. Luckily Red is considering making a fantasy biome(s), maybe even floating ore to populate that biome also. Things like fun mini-games in a computer object, entities that build mini-structures, and non-cookie-cutter entities. Things purely from the mind, Subnautica style of fantasy. Things like biomes reacting in a specific way with tree glowing, humming, and even 'celebrating' in the way our trees do per season. Having floating entities hovering, even bringing you necessary supplies within these 'fantasy' biomes, or even dandelion seeds type floaters to allow you to explore more biomes in the sky.
-
"Thunderbirds are go!"
Oh, my childhood right there I wanted to do similar in Minecraft with things being overly clunky within various FTB mods. Would be awesome if we had something slightly better on the garage door manner of things for modern era. 4 garage doors for people's modded planes (Twin Otter size) to pop through. For the fun of it, even considering giant doors 007 style, and for submarine bases. Even for mast ships (the GTA 5 kind).
Edit: Oh! If anything, could do what Starmade does with those automated doors in hanger bases and such on ships. They would open and close while making sure everything in the frame is void. Could do something along those lines.

With the ore update I can now strike out the ores on the list. One down, many more possibly to go. Fixed some typos above on the list also. Biomes should be the next thing to cross off next month, or so I'm assuming.
----
@Ozzy: HIlarious! I'd be amused if it was pushed in an update in a hidden manner for us to just stumble across. Those mini-games would sound like fun, and give you things to do while waiting for crops to grow, or something. With environmental illnesses you would have to wait to warm up, or similar. In the end, I'm going to assume it shall take the route it took in Minecraft with us needing to insert these sort of games once the computer is added.
Deirdre: Having fun is the name of the game (and survival). Have as much genuine fun as you can
@ Spockton: You're welcome Just trying to help.
-
The BBQ & this one being my favourite update with the quality and hard work you're putting into it. Loving the attention to detailing. I'm loving this
I'm now finding myself constantly staring at the at the furnace images of it smelting wishing I could play the game. (Ancient computer). This is also making me itch in having a Skyrim style of displaying ores on bookshelves type places to 'boast' of what has been acquired. Looking at the furnace is one way to boast, with having a display object next to it would boost that pride in ores.
-
The script accidentally assuming that the sky is ground? Red was made aware on Steam and now updating it with a hotfix. Also going to be another update this week for recipes. Nice!
-
Just a friendly nudge to take a peak into - these mobs also. They may be a pain to insert, yet with a great pay-off in the end in making it awesome. It would be wise to nudge away from the generic while aiming for realistic foreign entities.
1) - Giant rats would be nice pesky mobs to encounter. They simply fit everywhere with you needing to shovel/spade them to death.
2) - Oh! I love this one! I love this creepy bastard! Need more of these unique type of entities within the world to attack, tease, and harass the player in sweet traps.
3) - Another lovely mob that sounds awesome to add. Do love the idea that they steal your items, and all pleas to have them nerfed should be ignored. Players should wise up and enjoy the thrill of hunting your items back. I love this cruel greedy bastard. I'll constantly kill these types.
4) - This sounds like my kind of mob. Something I'd come up with to provoke players. Instead of vines, I'd have the entity be more.....ominous with pranks. Basically spawning entities to harass the players then behaving like #2 by wrapping himself, or drugging the player with a blow-pipe. (Live & Let Die 007) This mob sounds like a nice lovely tease.
5) - Fun, fun! Creepy, but fun. This one up's the Minecraft version nicely by giving her things to do. I'd grab my bow & arrow and shoot that eye into the wall. As for the cat, I'd sadly have to kill it if hostile. Poor kitty. For some mix of Anime & folklore fun, the kitty should sometimes appear neutral, even gaining a crude human form of either male or female form in the teens to communicate with player. Would be a hassle to code, but be worth it in that it would challenge the player to offer materials in dart games, or simple drinking games. There should also be a VERY rare chance to tame one of these cat familiars to be your comrade.
6) - I see where you're going with this now with me also agreeing with this version. Still do enjoy my idea of anime & real-life folklore of the familiar gaining a rough human form (not a furry, just crudely human) when in a more 'neutral' alignment.----------
Awesome stuff. Loving your version. Because I'm itching to find a proper game with you able to befriend NPCs as your followers (Skyrim style) I saw openings in #5 & #6 to do so. There should be a chance for the cat to appear neutral by simply guiding the witch around briefly. If you don't kill the gambling witch then the cat would be more friendly to you. If you also hide your weapons then it shall be more 'at ease' when it looks at you. Gaining the trust of the cat would allow the cat to prompt you for necessary items in your inventory, some of which should also allow you to tame the Kitty. If you even help the witch, or put it out of its misery in a friendly manner then the cat familiar should be yours in both kitty & humanoid form.
I guess this would be more of a mod idea, but it irritates me that I can't mod this in myself. I'm too stupid to try and do this myself. I'd need someone to mod it in for me, or us, thanks to how I can't hold code in my mind.
-
Ah! I missed that one when skimming! I want my Busou Shinki robots in Rising World! I want them to do battle, and to assist with chores. Gimme #7! Gimme me my dead Busou Shinkis' that Konami bluntly destroyed with their greedy evil hands!
I correct myself with enjoying #3, #4, & #7 ideas.
-
So 3D printing basically. Sure, I wouldn't mind it on a computer object as add-ons. Being able to 3D print items using similar materials to pop out ones from ruins. Preserving dungeons and ruins is what I loved doing in Minecraft, and would love to do so here also. I'd love to do so here because it's in my nature to have 'touristy' zones. I'd love to scan & print out materials that we would find rare that could be used in a semi-lesser form.
What I enjoyed the most in Minecraft was also coming across abandoned modded structures with broken computers and stuff. It made the world feel lived in, lively, but abandoned. You think - "Damn! So I'm basically stepping on where the abandoned people were" - in that game. Would be interesting to come across unique add-ons from ruins to add onto that, at rare times.
Interesting add-ons also. The one I would love to have the most would be #3 & #4 in the add-ons because it's a nice collectors tool. Great for creating museums.
-
Ores being a pain to Red right now so that's what he's focusing on. The next being biomes, then maybe again hostiles or food...If I'm to expect NPCs of any kind then it would be in the 2016 or 2017...depending if updates are each month with a theme from the feature page on it.
Biomes going to be next after this so I'm curious to know if it'll be two, or more. If it'll be forested (updated), plains, swampy, desert, and some lake biome. This one is going to be a real pain to add in because it'll nee to be updated constantly to add in every single fun biome known to mankind.
(With that in mind, I'm still holding out hope that Red shall add in NPC comrades...Even 'pets'.)
-
The swingy garden chair, the tomatoes lining the fence, and the iron door. Nice stuff. I love this form of creativity
-
Damn! These are insanely impressive that I'd love to tour these creations once I am able to join in. Expertly built structures that I'd love to try and recreate. Nice high praise to be spread around. It's too bad the image viewer tends to not allow me to view images at times, even on page one. From what I saw there's great stuff to be seen.
-
This! I want this to be taken seriously by Red because it takes advantage of the vast world that would otherwise feel empty.
1) I would love it if you could build shelters for NPCs, then flagging it or guiding an NPC villager to live there. Even wandering NPCs. It's something I'm trying to push Red into because it would help is game greatly. He's too shy and hesitant on this though.....
2) If it's something simple like with Minecraft's "Littlemaids" mod (Never played with, yet wanted to), then I agree. If it's to tend with 'chore' type tasks, then yes. Anything to do with farming, cooking, or fishing. People shall have issues with mining.
3) I would love it if you can tame cats, dog, horses, camel,s and even foxes. I really want to tame an animal companion being fox types. They should not warp to you in any manner........
4) Exploring on horses & camels shall be the most fun. I love that Bonus if you add Mooses as ridable entities, even giving all three supply bags on the saddles.
5) Breeding farm animals is something that I'm sure is planned. Have to wait on this. I agree.
6) You know, I'm curious how chickens shall behave in Rising World. How are they going to pop out eggs, and similar. It's going to happen, yet curious how.
7) I've also been trying to nudge Red into this strongly with him now considering NPC villages. For scenic it's something he's hesitant on. For server admin sie we've been giving 'NPC Traders' to place and customize once they're added in. Adding lively civilizations & settlements would be a great bonus to the game to the game, more so if you can trade with them in that 'supply & demand' manner. No economy, just item bartering.
Auto-protection to NPCs eh? That's something that might have to be done through mods. It sounds neat though with me curious to see how and where the NPCs would build. Rimworld & 'Timber & Stone' being two games to use as inspiration.
9) When we're given those ''Construction plans' to save our creations then the NPCs can use those as inspiration to build stuff with. Just selecting & choosing, even scanning the scenery to make things 'fit'. If they're coded to make use of the construction plan then they'll be fun to mess with. Granted, players go wild so structures won't meld with one another in appearance. I'm sure there is a way, if Red can give them defaults to work with in that RTS type manner.
10) Would be neat----------
From this, I strongly still want Red to consider adding living NPC settlements, NPC followers (just follow & do combat with; bonus being fishing and tedious tasks, that does not include mining), along with being able to assign the NPCs with their own home. Not building and they enter, but befriending and setting the structure you built for them.
Having wandering adventurers, scavengers, and other sorts of NPCs to play with that wander the land would liven the world up. You're just exploring the world to stumble across a hungry camper next to a camp fire, or someone fishing. Random things like that would make the world a tiny bit more lively. Having neutral humans and humanoids would make the world feel more lively, but of course needing to be scaled with 1 per biome at a time. If it's too common then that makes it too populated. Fun trying to find balances . If we can befriend one, or some of these then I can happily populate my world. They don't have to do much from then on. I'll at the least expect them to just aimlessly wander around like other NPCs in other games. They would however have to tend to their food & water, thus needing their own set of supplies.
I can already see this being nudged into 'Rimworld' with how you have to keep a steady stockpile. I wouldn't mind trying to keep both myself and others alive. I'm a farmer player. A hoarder, a builder.
[My bit seems like a mod idea in the end, but I still want Red to explore it. I guess I should have fun with it in a mod in the way I enjoyed Skyrim's wandering NPCs. It's simply a waste of unlimited space not to take advantage of it.]

Well, not sure if such a heated topic is allowed but I"ll try. Damn, am I furious with Konami for reasons being similar, yet different from others. The North American community is furious with Konami for killing Metal Gear, Silent Hill, & P.T demo of Silent Hills. It's nasty. I"m furious because of that + me being in the Japanese Busou Shinki community with their 15 cm tall battle robot lines based on items & ladies. Battling robots themed on things in our world.
- Konami constantly shuffled office desk lay-outs to force employees to leave on their own accord. They did this to Kojima.
- They purposely made devices faulty to irritate their employees.
- They purposely killed console games without a care to jump onto mobile gaming in a hostile manner.
- They happily killed Busou SHinki & other IP while using the archiac thoughts of the big-wigs stuck in Japan's economy bubble of the past.
- Konami had an office fire in Tokyo before with me linking this to their evil desires, the constant evil mindset at the very top ruining it for the employees & the fanbase.
- Forcefully stirring up chaos to jump into mobile games by killing console gamings and forcing hell on their employees with their archaic greedy mindset for profit still stuck in the Japanese economic bubble era. Fossils of a by-gone era.
- Treating Busou Shinki line like crap by delaying or being tardy/sloppy with updates (Konami issues) killing MMO on a Halloween date in 2012; Upping crappier mobile version which died within a month or two named "Battle Communications". Signs were there, yet ignored because it's Japanese.North American (or western gamers)are furious over Konami's recent behavior that I had to put up with back when I jumped into Konami's Busou Shinki line back in 2010-2013. In and around then. I had to put up with their evil crap back in 2010, or so, when I was introduced to the awesomely detailed figures with model-like accessories by a fellow Anime comrade blogging about Anime goodies. Games were awesome also and what got me into the Konami side of quality & evilness.... They pulled the plug on the MMO back in 2012-2013 with them trying to force it onto mobile gaming of PSP/Vita & Smartphones. the "Battle Communications" was a lesser version of that MMO with the phone version obviously flopping. They never cared for their IPs; The employees did. It's a shame such good game properties belongs to a corrupted and very dated & evil-minded gaming company in Japan. They're evil and archiac through-and-through (the leaders; big-wigs; founders) causing the whole of Japan & themselves to bring shame to those in and around them. It's depressing.
- R.I.P Busou Shinki - R.I.P Metal Gear - R.I.P Silent HIlls & P.T.
(What you see as my avatar is 'Renge' - Type Ninetailes (Fox)' from the Japanese folklore of ninetailed foxes from the Busou Shinki line.) -
Haha! Inception to infinity & beyond!
I'd be amused if I could play Tetris, Mario, and whatever other game we could play through modded support. If Red considers adding a base game or two to this computer object as a comical easteregg to mess with then that be overly hilarious. Something small to add to the whole fun of it all. Dr. Mario was fun. Of course it would have to be either a mod or something original, or something Red could insert on his own for the fun of it. Now that I said it makes it something that won't happen. *shrug reaction*
(People have been doing this in Minecraft with comical results. I'd happily welcome it with it coming over here. It's also been done with Computer craft mod, even with command blocks. GTA 5 also a good example with tennis, golfing, arm wrestling, and similar stuff.)
-
I've been thinking about how Red is considering adding a 'Realistic Fantasy' Biome with me coming up with some nice thoughts for it. Been trying to consider what 'fantasy' stuff could be added that doesn't go back to the rehashed dragons & dwarves stuff.....That needs to be ignored. I highly recommend that the 'fantasy biome(s)' should
----------
[- Fantasy Biome Brainstorming -]
- Size & Rarity: Biome should be quite large to make it more worthwhile for its rarity level in the world. Its rarity should be compared to the Mesa biome in Minecraft (fairly rare) with its size also being something making it fairly grand. It should be one major biome while having a few sub-biomes surrounding it. This should help make them rare, even making those other people happy. Large in scale, yet moderately rare.
---
- Scenery: It should contain plant life that assists and harms players at the same time in the same area. Things like flying/floating plants, harmful reacting plants that spit sap at you, or even ones that move (both physically or just a branch) depending on the weather. Some being forested, some being sky-oriented, among other things in the type of the biome within a biome. Take advantage of the sky, land, and the underground by making each and everything unique. Having liquids being solids, gas being liquids, and such should prove to be fairly interesting.
- Sub-Biome - Sky Biome: Being fantasy you can add fantasy scenic stuff in the sky. Sky is something rarely touch so having energy treated as solid would be a way to go about it. By being 'realistic' you can have plants offering 'vehicles' (Seeds & leafs) to float up into the sky by riding the energy within the biome. These seeds & leafs having evolved to react to these energy to populate the environment by. The lower land biome also evolved to loosely linking to the sky biome & back by producing energy to sparkle in every odd direction at random (in coding). To go up you'll have to path-find your way up by 'riding with the wind', even treating 'gas' as a solid, or even a liquid. Wrapping plants and scenery around yourself you should be able to wander around the biome in fancy manners, such as once again treating energy as a tram-line in the sky, or similar.
I highly recommend no real-world solids, only energy going opaque and bright; unique plant-life to take advantage, similar to that mushroom biome in Skyrim in vibe. There should be no ancient or real-world human structures, only overly alien-easque types as that ruins the immersion. Think Subnautica, if it helps, or how unique the fantasy biome needs to be in this point & time.
- Sub-biome - Gassy Ocean: An ocean that feels like steam and appears like liquid running fog (imagine how you can feel the hot air from a tea kettle & oven) allowing you to both fly & swim at will without drowning. You'll be able to see what should be swimming as flying, or hovering, while being overly peaceful, helpful, curious, and even overly hostile. Colours tend to change per day, season, and even the moon's position in the sky.
---
- Biome - Animals & plants:
(This being suggestions of creature types.)- 1) Helper Creatures: Floating entities that reads the player's aura to see if they're hungry or thirsty to aid them on a whim. They'll scan the player (sensing it's aura in lore) by grabbing nearby food & liquids in it's own environment. You can't tame it, nor should you nudge it out of the biome for it'll die from what keeps it alive [Recommend the coding to kill it when out of biome; Fish out of water.]
- 2) Sap Spitting Trees: Trees and plant life should spit at you to deal damage. Certain armour should become ineffective, even useless when spat on by these plants. You should find yourself armor from this biome to deal with the hostile plant-life. The stuff spat at you should be considered to the sap you find on Oak, or similar trees. Just as stinky, irritating, and lethal. [Small plants, weeds, and giant plant-life should spit. Should be fairly common, just not as common as normal trees.]
- 3) Energy 'Birds': Think of birds & flying entities in our world flying around in a physical energy. Not shocking at touch, just something that exists as physical energy similar to how you can form familiars form magic spells, just naturally thanks to its charged environment. You know how see-through controllers exist? Anybody remember the N64 see-through controllers? Now imagine those, just gassy & liquidy at the same time, yet physical. A living gas. A spirit...yet not. If it helps with your imagination then think of a light-blue, yet still white flying glass bird that behave more of a liquid or solid.
- 4) 'Rotator Seed': A certain tree would spawn human-sized dandelion seeds with visible growth. During the 'right time' they would eventually let loose and ride the sparkly current aiming upwards towards the sky biome and back down. If the player is aware, they could trap a seed and command it like a sail heading upward and downward nearly at will. They're still however at the mercy of the energy particles radiating from the grown & sky plant-life. [Strong thoughts on dandelion seeds here while having that alien appearance.]
- 5) Hybrid Tree: Purple giant fuzzy tree with branches arching over like an arch. The leaves having odd shapes with fuzzy edges with them glowing light blue at night while being light purple during the day. The fuzzy leaves, if touched at night, would cause the trees to rattle, even stirring up a eerie humming noise to attract glowing hovering gassy entities to sing along with the hum. When provoked, it's best to allow nature to take its course by waiting till day. If forced, one must place a light source at the base of the tree. If highly educated of the environment, one could even place special biome-specific flowers to calm the tree down from the plant's scent. (This tree based on a tree with branches like whips and can be found in Europe; One in my area. Can't figure out their name. They have fuzzy round stuff on them.)
- & etc, etc. These types of fantasy would be more appealing than having skeletons, elves, and such........
-----
(Side-note: The fantasy I seek, and am sure others would approve is, seeming to be more mod-oriented because I'm sick of what is now considered the 'back-bone' and 'copyright safe' in the gaming industry. If we're going to have fantasy then I want to nudge it more into a more 'realistic', more 'unique', and more worthy environment to immerse ourselves in. I hope Red makes his fantasy world something that we haven't seen more, and something that may be more on a 'serious anime/NA fantasy' line and less your typical 'copy-paste' North American & European side of things. The above just being stuff I would expect when a 'fantasy biome' would be created.)

Makes me think of Minecraft's Redpower modpack...Redpower, computercraft, and etc with the robotic squared little 'Turtles' and similar. This is the modern way to change or create varieties of existing blocks eh? That would be an interesting 'high-tech' way of doing such in a form of 3D printing. I'd approve of this as another form of collection + the mobs entries in the game's own glossary that you can piece together. Adding this ontop of that would be awesome for those ACNL players.
Adding add-ons would be interesting, if you can list at least 20 different types for a general vibe of things
