Other then Small little ponds , I have not found any lakes in the world at all. I Saw some pictures of larger lakes but I have yet to see the game generate anything more then what I would say is a small rock fishing pond.

Keep looking they will be there somewhere oO :-) took me like 30min to find the ocean

Well, red stated explicit above that all the buildings must be yours, so I guess your submissions will not be accepted then.

he also said they could not use other images of other buildings without their permission, in other words if you get permission by the owner then it should be ok, i think it would be best to also get the owners names and not the server name, this way we could keep a better track of who does own the image.

i own a number of games none are as good as rising world when it comes to building in fact rising world has really made the other games look bad when it comes to building lol but there are aspects of other games that i would love to see in rising world for example fortresscraft has a really awesome mining setup with all sorts of hoppers, conveyors, and other machines really its more a minecraft than minecraft is other games like space space engineers just dont do much for me, Grav has the same type of crap building system but that game does draw you in with its graphics and dungeons the dungeons are full of stuff to help you build your base and the guns sound awesome.

Hi all! sometimes some buildings need to turn, so I know that it is possible to turn the buildings which are not made of blocks. It would be good if buildings consisting of blocks can be rotated at least every 90 degrees of 4 sides, at least horizontally. :)

yes this was talked about some time back, red has also said this will happen at some point but as you say it will only be at every 90 degrees

    Hello,

I play on a multiplayer server with my two roommates. A few times we have returned to the game with hours of our work suddenly not there (i.e. we dug tunnels to connect two caverns and upon logging back into the game, the tunnels were not there). Another time we built a large building - about five hours of game play - and upon returning to the game the next day, half of it was gone - and it isn't a rendering problem. The game is being hosted on a Macbook Pro through a LAN network, using Hamachi. Is there a command that brings back our work? What should we do to correct this issue?

This can happen if the server was restarted before it had a chance to save all data or the server is running very low on ram and sqlite is used, unless you have auto backups there wont be anyway of getting your stuff back, if its your own server try moving to mysql over sqlite and backup the data every so often. how often do you close the server or restart it maybe also try not closing for some time after you exit the world to give it time to save the world, another problem could be your harddrive starting to fail do a scan of your drive to see if this maybe the problem

Where're all the players? Most of times I only see a maximum of 5-7 players on the most populated server. Is the game too new to the big world?

Most players are waiting for other stuff >> Water ect ect <<< or play single player ATM the best time to see everyone is on a big update day ;-D

i know of a another user who built a minecraft type game they had a go at making it round but ran in to all sorts of problems with voxels not lining up they ended up scripping that idea and went with a box type of shape

I am just curious on the timeline or if there is a timeline for the Java change? The reason I ask is I started a server and I need to make some changes to some of the lua scripting and I am lazy soooo.... If it is coming out soon I will wait :D:D It's not like Red and his team hasn't been doing anything like pushing out biomes. gather the server under one website.... Upgrading the main webpage for the upcoming wiki, or anything like that 8o8o I was just wondering.

The java change will still be some time away i would expect around june or even longer from what i know but that could have changed

How can you paint beams with brick texture?

you dont paint yet but you can spawn them hit the ~ or ` key and type item woodbeam 64 23 like that 64 = the amount 23 is the id you want, to find the id open the block bench and look for the type if brick you want your beam to look like, once found use that id inplace of 23, this trick can only be done if you have the rights todo so meaning you need to be on single player mode or a admin or on a server with the rights set to let users spawn items.

Oh sorry. I tend to look at any problem as a programming dillema and I ramble a bit. I'm a DevOps and build engineer at work so I tend to look at solutions for their code complexity. Its just how my mind works. Rising World incorporates a vortex world (the landscape) and a block grid like from minecraft. To build a wall at 45 degrees would require a new set of all blocks so it doesnt seem feasible. Think of ARK Survival (if you play it). The first foundation foundation block can be placed at any orientation you want and additional foundation blocks snap to the first one. This is because the blocks are not restricted to a block grid like in Minecraft or Rising World. If you were to somehow rotate blocks then you would have gaps between each block on the wall because the hypotenuse of a right triangle is always longer than each side. I'm sure Red51 could easily implement a solution if he takes the development time but at this point, additional biomes and water are the next big things but I would love to create a village of houses and not be limited to 90 degree angles.

You are not limited to only 90 degrees with all constriction in fact with the command setr veryhigh that gives you 1 degree but its limited to timbers beams and planks only witch you can re-size to the same size as the blocks and also you can use any texture on them in fact if you only build your builds with timber your then able to blueprint them and rotate
