So I downloaded the dedicated server files off steam and I tried to launch. Server crashed. Here is the error report:

i had the same issue but cant remember what i had to install. make sure you have c++redis installed and xna framework 4.0 as well.

If you want to download the new version server in Steam, you have to rightclick on the server -> Properties -> Betas -> select "unity - New Version Preview".The error indicates that the wrong Java version is installed. According to the log, Java 21 is installed, but the Java version of the game (including the server) only supports Java 8. In order to fix this, you have to install Java 8 accordingly.
The new version, however, no longer requires Java to be installed.
