Automatically kick players from list of trouble makers Plugin

    Just wanted to know what everyone thinks about a plugin that automatically kicks a player who joins a server running this plugin,


    how it works

    all players who have caused missive problems with bad behavior get added to a list, this list is then read by the plugin over html on player connect, if the player is on the list they automatically get kicked from the server

    admins can submit to me a player they want added to the list to help protect all other servers from this player,

    this means once a player has been added to the list all servers are protected from that player not just the one.

    UID of admin that banned player, reason to be displayed to player, reason to be displayed to server admins, date of ban, classifications (GRIEFING, RACISM, SEXISM, HACKING, DOXING... etc), Last known IP address, more?


    My name suggestion for the plugin (should you be looking for one) - SHEILD - Stop Hostile and Egregious Individuals Live Database 8)

    ive been tinkering with something a bit more complex just have to get the code to yahgiggle to see what we can work out. wanting to do 3 ban lvls. 3 days 14 days and perm ban. wanting to do discord integration for alerts .servers can do auto ban(banned on one banned on all) or manual ban where it will send a discord notice that a banned player is on your server. uid ip reason for ban and an optional report for giving details of the ban.



    and no i didnt steal his idea as someone else said earlier. (we come up with the idea while bsing on steam) lol.

    Surely this would be for serious offenders, i.e. clear perma ban offenses?


    I once had someone upload nazi flags and pornography as posters, this is premeditated and serious offense.


    An offense I think (at least I hope) no servers would tollerate.


    Someone being a bit of a fool, maybe due to intoxication, sure ban them from one server for 3, 14 days, but to impose this ban on all servers would be overkill imho.


    As always, discussion is a good thing :)

    I've already coded a simple plugin as James knows, it's working sweet, but very interested in the length of time they get and how that would work due the it using html array list
