Is there something in-game that tells the player this?? With all the comments I see when searching the web for 'how to find aluminium', it seems to be a common problem. I dread to think how may disappointed players gave up on the game having spent hours looking for aluminium with no idea or guidance where to start.

not by default, you could add something in the server scheduler tho

Thanks again, but i am not just thinking of me, as now i know the journal exists. I am thinking about all the other players out there, many of whom have expressed extreme frustration with not being able to find Aluminium ore. Having an obvious link to the journal that would guide them would help resolve the issue, but this would need to be in the base game.

if you add it to the scheduler it would show in chat every time a player joined.
