How to repair a tool/weapon

Same here tbh, so don't know if that's intended behavior, but can confirm my weapons/tools also don't really get repaired other than sharpened

Unfortunately you cannot repair a tool if it's either "Broken" (then it's too late to repair it - but we're thinking about that) or "Worn" (that's already the best state you get by repairing an item - the better "Pristine" state is only available for newly crafted items).

oh that's it, I can't repair a weapon/tool thats worn. Thanks for letting me know

Sharpening is how you repair your tools. brand new they start off Pristine. After some use, Worn, then Damaged and finally Broken. You must use the grindstone on them at Damaged level. If you continue to use them and they become broken you cannot sharpen them.
