construction

  • The construction has been turned into complete shit. There is no desire to build. In the lava version, it was easy and simple to put where you need to turn easily without problems. And I don't need to learn, I don't need a construction simulator.

If someone likes this shit, make a separate menu for them in creative mode. My players haven't been building anything for a long time, they're putting up blueprints from the lava version.

  • The building system in the Unity is as simple or as complex as you want it to be. Want to build minecraft style will full / half blocks, etc. you can do that. Want to build with planks, etc. you can do that by simple resizing a block. Want to build something as realistic as possible, you can do that too. That's the beauty of the system, it gives you as much freedom as possible to build any way you want to.

Now does that freedom mean that it might take a bit of time to get used to the controls, etc. yes...but as the old saying goes, it's not exactly rocket science.

  • I suffered through 8 hours of downtime building a house. The blocks fall through and lie down unevenly.the triangles rotate as they please. Our administrator is sick.Only he could build simple things. And my friends and I just don't have time to build cool dead cities. We come to play and relax after work.

Press enter when holding a block to turn on snap mode.

  • I can understand the frustration. It was much easier to build in the Java version. There were discussions about making the building system easier in the Unity version, and Red added it to the to-do list, of course without a time limit. You can put NPCs in your cities, which makes them look less boring, but I think you already know that. Only one developer works in Rising World, and it takes time for something new to be integrated.

I think the gaps in the image are caused by several people working on the surface and starting in different places. Your blocks are sometimes straight and sometimes horizontal. The grid was probably also adjusted. This means the surface doesn't add up mathematically, which is why gaps appear. It's difficult to explain. I hope I've contributed something to the solution.

  • Not one to cause any sort of trouble but as the old saying goes " A bad workman blames his tools" there can do a few different reasons why there are gaps ( like what Deirdre said) If you have got space between any blocks how about remove it resize it and replace it to fit, all could have done within a few seconds job done!!.:P:P

  • Qoted by Red in Steam. I think this sounds good. 😊

I think we could also add a plank-like object with the next update. Not exactly a plank, but rather a panel or sheet which has a size of 1x1 (width and height) and a thickness of 0.01 or 0.05 blocks. We could make it behave slightly different than the regular block (so it will behave more like planks in the Java version).

Perhaps this makes it a bit easier for players who are used to the Java version, but it might also be a useful block shape in general :) "

  • I came frome Minecraft. The first time i tried to build with this metod was very very frustrating also for me, but after some hours/day spent to build i learn the basic and so on. And i can say that this method is more accurated and more varied than java. So you can build more cmplex structure and it's much more beatiful.

    It just need more practice.

  • Thanks for the advice, we decided to play for now. Only the administrator will be able to start a new game and change the script. People have neither the time nor the desire to study this construction.

gaps the drawing is installed inaccurately on the grid, there was an attempt to change it, but the automation of construction is triggered and all the problems are because of it

If your players are unwilling or unable to learn and adapt, leave it be. That game is not for you.

Honestly, for month you are active on this forum now and shared your builds. Even in the beginning you got lots of advise on how to build. And suddenly, out of nowhere you come up with this rant.

Keep it for yourself please. Bad wording doesn't replace constructive critics.

That being said, what is the problem for your players. Aside their obvious lack of will to learn?

The Java version, not Lava version, read way behind the possibilities of unity.

  • You don't have to teach me, I know everything. Stupid automation. We are deciding whether to continue playing this game. If we needed a construction simulator, we would have played a different game.

I think you need exactly that. Someone to teach you. Nothing is automated. You just complain but don't bother to learn. How's do you expect someone to help you then?

Turn grid off and magnet mode on. That solves your issue with uneven surface.

Rising World is currently mostly building and was since many years. There is no better building game

  • This constant complaining bothers me. If people have problems on a server, there's nothing we can do in this forum. Please sort it out among yourselves. The admin is responsible for the server, not us. Get together and try to learn how to build together. If a game works like this, then that's just how it is. If people don't feel like building or learning something, then they should play something else. We're happy to help in the community, but we're not responsible for solving problems on a server. Please sort it out among yourselves. So far, the forum has always been nice and friendly, and it would be nice if it stayed that way. Avanar I thought I should say something too. xD

  • I didn't complain or ask for help, I just snapped after hours of work. We found the reason. I know everything that was explained to Victoria. She's not playing right now. The new administrator is sick. We have found a way out of this situation.

There have been several times were you've made it sound like two people are using the same Forum login. This leads to a lot of misunderstandings, etc. More than one person should NOT be using the same forum account, create separate accounts...it's not like it costs money to create separate accounts.

If you share an account don't be surprised if people don't understand sudden changes in the way of writing.

If you didn't ask for help, then what else? Just releasing steam?

  • No one is using my account.I sometimes share player drawings at their request. They need an assessment of their work.No one has access to my mail.

Then it's a matter of language. Exactly this account has asked several questions of how to build and they were all answered by the community. Still you come here and rant on about the game you and your friends are playing for month now and praised at other occasions

    It's hard to understand
