Change to Grid System?

I haven't built in this game for 3-4 months. I've come back to build and have come across something new for me. When I place a block using only the Grid system, the blocks now align to one corner of the grid square. Previously, they were always centered. This really affects my construction process. I am not referring to using Modular Snapping or Manual Positioning. Previously, a block was always centered in a grid square. So in a grid square that is 1 x 1, a block that is 0.7 x 1 x 0.7 would automatically place in the middle (centered) in the grid square. Now it doesn't, it aligns to one corner.

Is there a setting to change this?

Is this a new feature?

room6675 Thank you for the response. That is a horrible update in my opinion! For many things Modular Snapping does not help at all. red51 We need the Grid system to have the option to center an object in the center of a grid square. My primary tool for building is the Grid system, and now it is useless for me.
