Apologies if this is obnoxious again, maybe even confusing once again. I also apologize this ended up being long-winded also. Just wondering what is and isn't possible and what can or can't be considered. I wouldn't mind if this is made through modding also for the scripting-impaired, such as myself. I'm an idiot when it comes to scripting, even trying to learn such so I'm suggesting this as I'm the other type of 'fiddler' when it comes to games. More of setting things up so I can try and set 'scenic' scenes for image taking. Basically building things while trying to be as creative as possible through image screenshots. I guess this should indeed be left for 'Studio' programs, though this game has that freedom that this could work. It worked for Skyrim, common in Minecraft, and in J+18 games so I assume similar would work for this game.
Basically put.... I was wondering if it would be possible to have a modding tool to allow us to 'play' around with where each entity can spawn, in what frequency, and etc through the 'newbie friendly' modding tool. Something not just for me, for anybody wanting to do Let's Plays also.
- What I'm thinking:
- Being able to scroll through the list to pick and edit a mob to then see in the right-hand side. (Typical editing window dumbed down in simplicity)
- To select what 'pre-set' animations to choose and add onto selected mob; Preview the animation motion in screen on right side.
- To set their alignment - Peaceful, hostile, neutral, etc - and where they may found. Even the spawn-rate.
- Import/Export options - Being able to import other people's animations, models, and etc while also exporting animations for reference.
- Basic Rigging - Studio/Poser in a very basic manner. Able to tell game what body part is what (Basic hands, arms, legs, and head, nothing more)
- Bonus: Image importing - Being able to read images from other games and importing models from there into this game. [(*) View below in a spoiler tag]
I'm suggesting this because the game is advertised to be vast, even to have traditional RPG NPCs for trading purposes. At the very least, I would love the option to be able to further customize both them, and the hostiles by mixing & matching things. I shall accept the NPC Traders, and I'll be patient. I'll be happy with NPC Traders, even if they roboticly move around. I at the very least hope they're customizable in appearance if these tools aren't considered officially, or through modding. I'm just someone that wants to get all 'creative' in my own manner similar to that in Skyrim; Both building and customizing NPC (Traders) into comrades.

My thoughts come from messing around loads with character editors in all sorts of RPG, RTS, and MMO games. The most popular being "Phantasy Star Online 2", with the least expected being Illusion's Japanese porn games. Even though they're porn, they do have simplified menus that work for creating, giving personality, and others that I wish more games would take advantage of. I wouldn't mind, and would respect Rising World more (even Skyrim), if we could 'fiddle' with the entities attributes within mod tools.
For reference - PPD - Studio Pro -
(You would be surprised with how much more detailed these Japanese porn games are to the western games, or so I found. Not in pervertedness, more in customization and how you can give them personalities to roam and interact with.)
I apologize in bringing up +18 games as reference, just that I'm most familiar with them after playing around with numerous character creation systems. I at the very least expect a very quick "Google" from Red (or the other two) to be on the same page. I can recommend Illusion's "Premium Play Darkness (Studio side only) with how you can select animations, what voice to play, level of clothing (in RW's case would be layering in accessories), and poses. Even in HaremMate. For Rising World's case I'm suggesting the tool be kept to importing models (even from .png images), basic rigging, animation selections, voice selection, selecting where they spawn, how they spawn, and simple things like that. Doesn't have to be complex.
As a bonus (doesn't have to be done) it would be awesome if we could import models through .pngs. From Spore, Illusion games, and assumingly from "MikumikuDance" program. Doesn't have to be fully supported, just possible. I haven't even fiddled with MMD, though an option I want to leave open. If it can't be done, it can't be done. I create my characters through these Illusion games, even from any program that allows me to, thus this long-winded, and possibly confusing, suggestion.
If it can't be done, then well......too bad. I can live with it. I'm simply curious if this is possible. I'll happily toy with the NPC Traders in the end. Again, I apologize if this is obnoxious, yet wanting the most out of Rising World in that 'creative' manner. Even if I'm being stupid, I do hope something in here also sparks other types of thoughts. Simply wanting to explore this "Rising World" with customized NPCs also. Not just for comrades, also for inserting random hostiles or neutrals. Adding more.
If a mod tool can't be done then I'm fine with that. A suggestion for both myself and others....More so for the Let's Players & modders. I can also wait, just simply suggesting and playing with thoughts.
