Realism, yey.
When sitting on a fireplace etc, the player should take damage.

Well you have sequences... To make the Fireplace give player damage (realism) you would have to be able to turn it on and off. Also what degree and how far back would you have to stand to get damaged? Also you would have to gain a benefit from Fireplaces, so they would have to make a change in the player health. Then there is the matter if you have rock around the fireplace should you get damage? I have leaned against plenty of Fireplaces while they were going and did not get burned because of insulation. Then you would have to be able to feed it. What would you fees it wood? Coal? little chickens? Which I can't find because of sparkles....I could go into the building of a fireplace but.....

perhaps you will need a fire place or clothes to stay warm at night and when rain is added in you will need a fireplace to dry off otherwise you could get sick and possibly die

So basically how Skyrim works with fire + that Frostfall mod. Love the idea. Fire shall be highly important in cooler climate biomes that it should be sweet. Careful not to burn yourself in your need to stay warm heh.
