I feel kind of responsable. But no, the topic of a wiki has been around for years. But you can discuss a lot, in the end it depends on who really wants to do something for it. As I already mentioned in the German forum, everybody can create and change posts in Wikipedia. And thats why we start with a Discord channel for communication and open the Wiki for the public once it has some more flesh on the bones.

Bei Wikipedia darf jeder etwas beitragen und ändern, aber eine Änderung ist auch nicht ganz so einfach möglich sondern erfordert das Umgehen von ein paar Hürden.

Ähm Deirdre... warum so aggresiv?

1. Discord ist, aus meiner Sicht, super. Es ist einfach zu bedienen und bietet viele Möglichkeiten. Beitreten kann jeder der eingeladen wird.

2. Discord ist doch kein Wikipedia! Discord nutzen wir lediglich zur Kommunikation untereinander

3. Die Idee ist erstmal etwas handfestes zu schaffen um das Wiki überhaupt zum Laufen zu kriegen. Es gibt schon andere Wikis für RW aber kaum jemand kümmert sich drum. Deswegen geht es uns darum dieses Wiki erstmal mit Leben zu füllen und diejenigen ins Boot zu holen die sich auch dafür verantwortlich fühlen wollen.

4. Das Wiki lebt vom Mitmachen und daher wird man das Wiki auch bearbeiten können ohne in dem Discord zu sein.

Meine Güte... immer gleich diese Gereiztheit wenn einem was nicht passt. Bleib entspannt und wenn du mitarbeiten möchtest würden wir uns freuen. Du hast sehr viel Erfahrung und Talent mit Rising World. Deine Artikel wären sicher ein großartiger Beitrag.

Und genau das gefällt mir so gut an Rising World. Immer wenn ich denke ich hab was tolles geschafft kommt einer mit etwas das mich staunen lässt was alles möglich ist

Ah and i guess i missed another point. Don't allow different glass types to overlap each other. Just spare out where you want to have another glass type

If you prefer to have glass and blocks the same line, just set a row of glass panes on the outer sides so you have 2 rows. That way you have a smooth looking window front

True though adblock haha But joke aside the advantage of fandom is that it is fully publicly editable and anyone can, when they have time, join and leave the wiki project as they please.

Bogus and yaromid chose a wiki software and we are just getting familiar with it, already prepared some texts and will publish them once ready

Why don't you just use glass panes instead of blocks?

There are for sure several ways to go. We have chosen a path and will follow it. In the end its important to take a decision and follow that way

You can get blocks of all available shapes at the work bench and rotate, resize and place them as you like

Als Nebenprojekt mal was Nicht-Zwergisches - es soll eine Burgruine darstellen in der man es sich gemütlich gemacht hat. Das hier ist ein kleines Theater in einer Gebäuderuine. Das Stück das aufgeführt wird heisst "Theatercraft" oder so ähnlich

As a side project now something not-dwarven - its supposed to be a castle ruin in which someone made it nice and cozy. This here is a small theater inside a ruined building. The peace shown is called "Theatercraft" or something like that

Deirdre in dem radialmenü gibt's ne Option die nennt sich Kollisionsabfrage. Evtl stelle das mal um, ob es dann besser ist?

For glass panels, they will not stack on top or line up over a wall. Example I did round blocks like log cabin but have gap between round blocks sideways. I try to use glass panels to seal the gap but only to put together touching the ground. Also to give the round blocks shiny affect. Only works if has a base and not floating.

To be honest i don't understand much of your point

However if you want gaps between blocks you can

1. Just leave a tiny space between them when placing. Since last patch you can drag - drop with gaps in between by using +/- key before placing the row

Or

2. Just place the glass and then take a thin block and mark the lines yourself and by that give the impression of separate glass blocks

The intention is to get hold of the current start-off for the Unity version and grow with it. The goal is to have a complete Wiki for the Rising World Unity version at least in german and english language in order to support JiW with the game as well as us players.

ja, da hast du wohl recht, lenko. für mich ists okay. hauptsache die sache kommt in die gänge und hilft dabei rising world zu verbessern und für neue spieler den einstieg zu vereinfachen

Was Discord angeht - könnte man nicht den schon bestehenden "inoffiziellen RW" nutzen? Also mit Untergruppe, wenn möglich? Weil ansonsten hätten wir auf einmal 2 "inoffizielle" Discord channel.

Mein Vorschlag mit einem offiziellen Discordchannel wäre für Red als Vorbereitung gedacht für die Zukunft. Erstmal nur mit eingeschränkten Nutzern, die sich auch am Wiki beteiligen, und wenn das Spiel dann soweit gediehen ist das Red sich ein wenig mehr auf andere Dinge konzentrieren kann könnte er den Channel für die Allgemeinheit öffnen.

Yes, in the settings you can configure this.

But since the last patch there's also a tool for creative mode to delete construction elements. That will do fine for you here
