The current Java version has this big "Press J to open your journal" banner on screen (which only goes away by pressing J), but there are apparently still some people out there who don't know there is actually a journal in the game

I don’t mean to criticize or be rude, but I did not realize building wasn’t going to be available in the Demo until now...therefore, I am a little disappointed. Is it even slightly possible to limit the object the player can build with. Perhaps simple building objects such as blocks, doors, Logs, windows and/or glass panes? Even if it’s ONLY blocks, I will be very happy!
Red51 has mentioned this over and over again. And looking at the trello board building is not implemented yet.
Ein Script könnte das auch verursachen. 100 Bäume in Reihe setzen usw. Ich hatte eine Wiese mit Blumen kreiert und das hat meinen Rechner total in die Knie gezwungen. Aber ich wusste auch was ich da mache. Solch ein Befehl wurde möglicherweise versehentlich wiederholt.
Spiel zu deinstallieren ist wirklich die allerletzte Option. Ein Neustart wäre eher anzuraten gewesen.
Ich bin dafür die letzte Beiträge zu löschen, oder zu verschieben, denn es ist eine schöne Blaupause und Spieler sollten nicht durch negative Kommentare vom Download abgehalten werden.
Es gibt einen Befehl mit dem man mehrere Blumen, Bäume, etc. auf einmal setzen kann? Den darfst du mir gerne mal schicken, per PM

Ich habe mir gestern mal die Mühe gemacht das Ding Ordendlich (OHNE CHEATS) mit Podest(was mich ca. 3 Std arbeit gekostet hat) aufzustellen ,nachdem ich damit fertig war und es stand sah nach der ersten Kontrolle ringsrum alles Top aus aber als ich nach meinem ersten Minengang wiederkam ,war alles mit 350 Blumen vollgespammt ,die konnte ich über die Konsole leicht entfernen ,aber bei den 100 kreuz und quer liegenden Bäumen war nix zu machen die lassen sich einfach nicht entfernen ,was für Wi.... sind das die nichts besseres zutun haben als Viren in die Dateien einzubauen um Leuten stundenlange arbeiten einfach zu zerstören !!!! ????? FINGER WEG!
Es ist schade das du solche Anschuldigungen vorbringst ohne das nochmal zu hinterfragen. Bäume oder Blumen können nicht in Blaupausen eingebaut werden (leider). Somit war das schonmal nicht korrekt was du schreibst.
Eher tippe ich drauf das die Blaupause zu groß für deine Rechnerkapazität war und du diese Blaupause einfach in ein Gebiet gestellt hast das vorher schon aus einer Blumenwiese und/oder Wald bestanden hat.
Evtl hattest du das nicht gesehen weil das Gebiet noch nicht fertig gerendert war als du die Blaupause aufgestellt hast.
Das wäre zumindest die naheliegendste Erklärung.

I doubt there will be new content. It's not worth the effort working on jmonkey Java engine. Better use the resources for unity.
The plugin planks and beams works like a charm and meets your first demand though. To not break immersion you can define costs of wood, metal, wood, etc to buy the planks, beams etc you want.
New plants won't be added. I'm pretty sure of that.
Auto pickup neither i guess. But honestly, resources ingame are plentiful. I usually just destroy stuff i don't want anymore.
red51 Was ist damit gemeint, die Konsole in den Hintergrund zu verschieben? Ist diese dann umständlicher zu erreichen und zu bedienen oder bedeutet es nur, dass für die Nicht-Kreativspieler ein Extra-Menu zur Verfügung steht?
Ne, ich glaub er meint das aktuell die Konsole sehr häufig genutzt werden muss um verschiedene Einstellungen zu erreichen. In der neuen Version soll die Konsole nur in den Hintergrund rutschen indem die ganzen "manuellen" Einstellungsmöglichkeiten dann schon direkt im Spiel über ein Interface integriert sind.

I guess for survival mode, a max size of ~ 3x5 blocks (width x height) for doors would be reasonable (given that the default size is 2x4 blocks). For creative mode, however, we could remove this size restriction
3x5? sounds fair for regular buildings. Id like to use these doors also for bigger projects though. like stables, castle gates and even some of my giant projects that have gates easily 20 - 30 blocks

Um das flackern zu verringern kannst du auch setp 1 verwenden. Einfach, sobald das Teil in Position ist, eine Stufe rauf /runter und das flackern kommt nicht vor. Bei einem Turm, etc. Einfach abwechselnd eine Stufe rauf bzw runter und alles ist gut. Optisch fällt das nicht mal auf

The dev said console version will hit the market but most likely not before the pc version isn't at least in beta.

I think the game is currently known and loved for its building aspect.
Once it expands to other fields a story will be required more often.
I personally don't need a story but would prefer possibilities for creating own quests

I am sure once game is feature complete it will get more languages added. Until then it would be too much effort to translate it and update each patch over and over again

I know we have two round one's in the game that open and close but a square one with slits would be nice that you can open and not static with planks and beams.
8. Of course. You can blueprint everything and then turn any degree you like. Only exception is terrain and blocks, which can be roatated only by 90 degrees
