I have been testing the iConomy and AktiveSign plug-ins by Patrick Bronke. I have to currently hand edit the database on iConomy to add UIDs since there is a logon bug but it works after that. The AktiveSign routine allows you to pay for changing time, weather, healing, drinking, eating or warping to places by hitting the function key on a set command sign. Sort of cool in my opinion.. But what I would like to see is things worth something in the game like the new Horses.. be nice to pay for horse through a sign or something. This would make horses valuable.. more so than Gold.

some like modern timesThere are objects for all ages (medivial - Modern Times)
and There are more Modernn Things Coming to RW, Electrcity, etc..Well they can make it an English saddle .. that is modern.. but maybe not so Second Amendment-ish.
Actually at closer look it seems it was not a horn but something in the riders crotch.

the only drawback is admin have to turn gm 1 on when they log in.
I am not sure I using that mod but I will check it out. Again the flying thing was "fake news". It was clarified with the person and they confirmed they were just expressing how fast they were moving.

if you are running server tools turn off the autogm1 setting. This overrides the block for the fly command. If you allow autogm1 everybody has flight as well as single hit by setting autogm1.
and where is that found?

I just finished moving from one building location to another and it can be a pain moving each chest or box from one location to the next. You have to unload each into you inventory and then move it to a new chest in the new location. This can be tedious and time consuming. So I am suggesting on PVP servers that there be a transport cart that can load a fully loaded chest or box onto it. You move it through the map to the new location and put it down there. If you get caught on the way you could be attacked and lose everything.

No actually this routine sees people with the extended Steam UID but the shorter individual user UID is not recognized. Both are in the database. I assume that this is just a problem with this routine but I wanted to ask.
Could you post a screenshot of the database for me to see these IDs? No idea what they are if I don't see them.
ok well the flying problem has been resolved as a non-issue.
The routine not trapping/recognizing the smaller UIDs is something that still exists. It is the same issue for all small UIDs. If someone has a short individual UID the routine does not see them and errors they do not exist. If they have the larger Steam UID it sees them and responds properly.
See the attached snapshot of the database. The shorter UID is in the database but not recognized. (note the routine has a problem with not checking for new entries and rewrites a new entry for each log on). If I try the routine on another player with a STEAM UID it responds with found.

We need better options for doors and passages. The wooden doors and sliding manways are nice but we need ones that are better suited. I would like smaller doors for manways that act as hinged doors on the floor or cabinets
The old manway should be more complete like a wooden trap door.
Also would be nice to have automatic doors.. .
I have already suggested being able to cover doors with different textures and have these planks move with the door.. .. would be nice for hidden secret doors or doors behind a bookcase.

both steam and standalone players have a type long UID. Unless you mean something else by that?

Also can the shorter personal UID cause issues with other routines such as permissions? Seems I have a user that says he can fly when it it is clearly turned off in the permissions groups until someone is promoted to specialized group of dedicated builders. No other player has informed me of this.

Well I love when I see someone sitting because the animation seats you properly. The only thing is if you are sitting across from someone you are looking at them as if you are standing. They need to adjust this.

I have already had the developer over to my server and tested it with him. I have sent him config and databases. He feels he knows part of the problem so he is working on it. I forwarded this thread to him so that he might have the insight brought out by you two also.
So players can attack the SQL database and alter the databases? That is not good. Hope Patrick is listening.

Now when a new player logs on this error showed up. The routine still works for those that were in the database prior to the newer version.
It does not seem to recognize short single player UIDs versus Steam but this is an observation as two players one steam and one not both in the database act differently. The Steam UID functions normally and the player receives money and notification of money being transferred. The non-steam player does not get a report but the sending person gets a report that was sent.

Sql should be giving you errors if there are problems?
Nope no errors just no money and the database remains blank.

I would write the path:
The first one actually creates a path similar to (on Windows at least) C:\risingworld\path/database/description-name.db when executed on the JVM.
I'm only surmising that this may be a cause. . .
There really is no need for a unique database name for each server plugin it's complicating things for no reason.

Ah well just a thought, I was always taught to use escape backslashes.
An odd program indeed.
I am going to send him your comments because that might be another issue. The database issue is not solved with the old one just the entries. I bet you could manually enter the database information and it would start working but new people would not have any money and it would be a pain to maintain.

PatrickBronke visited and I sent him the databases. He is looking into it. The routine is not updating the new database and the old one writes a new entry everytime you log in.. though the routine keeps all the entrees the same as far as money math is concerned so it is transparent. Will make way too big a database though. The new routine is not updating the database at all.
