    Froze, booted then fatal error window popped up. (was just starting to fly off somewhere had gone less than 3 squares when I froze, saw a blue circle then out) Hope it helps you.

    I had to look a bit to find the availability to turn on the unity version. Thankyou very much. I never would have thought to look. (I find I have very little patience these days)

    You all are the greatest. I changed computers and transferred everything there with no difference. I also play the game with someone else who was getting very impatient at my absence! I purchased another game. (I am just as impatient) Sadly it is does not include unity with it.

    I had the unity version. When screen went black I eventually left the game. When I tried to reenter, unity was no longer a choice given to me.


    regarding gm 1 or gm 0 I switch between them daily. I was in gm 1 when the screen went black.


    That picture was taken in window mode. I have tried full screen, windowed, changed all settings and reset them.


    I was not in a cave...turning on the light did nothing to change the darkness.


    All of you are wonderful for looking at this. Thank you so very much. Alas I have given up and purchased a new game so. I could get on with my game.


    Since I also changed computers, I will go back to the old computer and take another look.


    Hey Avanar, your eyes must be much better than mine as I do not see my hand holding the melon. My only thought since you said that is I went way underground. I will see if I have time to dig out my old computer and try flying out of the ground! If that turns out to be it I will put this game on hold and go back to my original game)

    There In the upper left I can see which F key I have active

    I can eat, walk everything works except seeing anything that is happening.


    I was placing blocks when the screen went black.


    . I am playing the original version. Not sure if this matters but I am no longer offered the preview of the Unity game. I will try the reinstall of the server files.

    I still have a black screen

    I was in the middle of laying some blocks when the screen initially went black.

    Have made sure the cache is cleaned, Computer updated and made sure I had the nvidia video driver updated.


    Still a black screen.

    Hope there are more suggestions available.

    Was building a building when my screen went Black

    I logged out and in several times.

    after first attempt produced a report

    put settings on default

    Updated steam on the server.

    Restarted computer.

    Uninstalled/Reinstalled RW.

    I can interact with the ` key (report to follow)

    I can see the Blueprints, Map, Inventory and upper right corner (current inventory item)

    The x never leaves the center of the screen

    in gm1 I can select the function keys with the correct menus in the upper left

    in gm 0 the display for food and drink is visible, I was low on water. was able to move watermelon to active invetory and eat it. The confirmation was the number of watermelon slices going down 1 and the fluids turning green.

    Life is full

    Otherwise I just have a black screen.

    This is fantastic...I have built a huge hotel and this is what I was trying to come up with. Thank you so very much I cannot wait to give this a try. I have enjoyed so many of the things you have made. In the pictures I like the gold tone floor better than the blue tile..it gives the room that rich and smokey feel that these rooms always seemed to have.

    I believe I saw some instruments in one of the theater blueprints that was posted quite some time ago if you wanted to see how someone else made them. Blueprints that are posted here are a great resource to get ideas or even to figure out how they did it, I carefully take things apart (sometimes more than once) so I can see how others make things. Its a great good learning tool. plus you would be surprised at some of the simple gems you will find. (Thanks to everyone for taking the time and being generous enough to share them)

    The pictures in order:
    1. 2nd attempt at placing the blueprint
    2. 1st attempt at placing the blueprint
    3. After "undoblueprint" All these items remained.
    4. After using F7 to delete everything that was remaining. All the Louvered doors remained. along with the fire from lights.


    It is difficult to see but all the items were where I had intended to place the building but most of the building was placed askew of the of the constructions. The building was moved 15-20 blocks to the left when looking at the front. No wood or furniture was where it belonged in relation to the the building Everything looked fine prior to placement. The blocks for the building did not place all the blocks, it cut the edges of the sides...which makes no sense as the building was deeper/longer than it was wide yet front to back (all that was blueprinted) was there. (So why did it askew itself?)


    This is not the first time I have placed this blueprint. It is the first time I have tried to place it in this spot. We adapted this from someone else's original. It is a little larger so my first thought was I needed to be in a different viewing spot when I placed it but that made no difference. My partner also tried to place his blueprint that was made independently from mine and was not a duplicate of my own. His did the same thing (he tried 3 times)



    I did 2 reports 1 before using f7 and the other after


    I left the game and came back the lights and louvered doors were gone which is what usually happens when it is only the lights there but I figured it would wourk on the doors since I could not bash them out.


    Sorry the 4th picture timed out or just went bad when I previewed this so put it in again.

    Thanks Red. This happened when I am trying to look at a blueprint. We are not using any plug ins and there are only 2 of us on the server. While we do a lot of building, we move on when we are happy with a village. We are only working on a single building at this time and it is no where as ambitious as some of our other projects.
