Glass is almost ready, we just have to set up a shader to have proper refractions (like in the Java version)

Multiple layers of glass in one pane. I know players can just place multiple panes behind each other, but in real life, glazed glass has a more reflective look!
We don't have any specific plans in this regard. What do you expect from it exactly?
red51 when we get glass, are their going to be different building blocks that are glass like there are now in the crafting bench in the new version?
I guess it's better to just have some specific glass panes (with various shapes, e.g. a circle, triangle etc). A few shapes certainly make sense (pane, block, sphere), but others probably don't play well with a transparent material (arc, pillar, corner elements etc)

What do you mean exactly with "more modern looking glass"?
Do you refer to the refraction? In the Java version, even the regular glass pane had a minor refraction effect. Some people asked about getting rid of it in the past. -
Ash are you talking about the kind of windows we see on skyscrapers etc? Where they are almost mirrored, so from the outside you cant see in, but on the inside you can see out? (see attached image)
In the past I have tried to build modern skyscrapers in java but the glass is not very good for it. This image I stole from another player (credit sg-1), but you can see right in.
Maybe if it was possible to alter the strength of the mirror refraction?

I am not quite sure what you are talking about then? If you want double glazed glass you can already do that in java by just placing two panels with your desired spacing?
