Notes Plugin Guide for Rising World

Notes are personal old notes you can create, view, and manage in Rising World—perfect for jotting down quests, tips, or server info. They have a simple, rustic look!

How to Find and Use Notes

    1. Open the Menu: Press the TAB key to open your inventory, then find and click the “Help” button to access the Notes menu—a scroll with “Page 1/4” at the top, a search bar, and “Add Note >” option.

    2. Browse Notes: Scroll through listed notes (like “This Is A Heading” or “Learn How To Add Notes”) by clicking them. Use “Back” and “Next” to flip pages, or search by typing in the “Search” button to find specific notes by heading or content.

    3. View a Note: Click a note to open its full scroll—shows the heading, a short “About” description, and the main text, all wrapped neatly in an 800x600 box.

    Adding and Editing Notes

-Add a Note: Only admins can add notes. Click “Add Note >and it appears in your menu.”

-Edit Notes: Only admins can edit or delete notes. They’ll see extra buttons to change the heading, “About” text, main content, or remove the note entirely.

    Tips for Use

-Search Smart: Use the search to find notes fast—works by heading or description.

-Check Permissions: Regular players can view and search notes, but only admins can add, edit, or delete—ask your server for rules.

-Paginate: With lots of notes, use “Back” and “Next” to navigate pages (up to 9 per page).

  • Thanks for the plugin

I would like to write notes in two languages and for that I would need the option of a deliberate line break.

Without this it is difficult to find the right place by having to use spaces or whatever to fill in the gaps until the line break occurs.

It would help if the width and height of the editing window corresponded to the input options (60 characters x ? lines)

    edit regarding menu:

The menus of "Notes" and "Portals2" overlap. Can one of you do something about it?

  • Why's the portal menu so huge james1bow 🤣

But really we both make plugins for our own servers but allow other uses to download them and use them, if I moved the button it would be a pain for my own server, but it would be simple for me to add the plugin again with the button under the crafting section

  • Is it possible to change the order of notes? Because I wrote a note titled "Server Rules". It was at the top of the list. Unfortunately, when I enter more notes, the "Server Rules" note moves to the bottom of the list. I would like it to be at the top of the list of notes.

  • you guys could edit the database to do this yourself just change the order of the IDs but yeah maybe i cold also add a move to the top button like i have in the market
