Well, I bet introducing trains in Rising World is a very challenging task. The terrain on most islands is not very flat, there are lots of mountains, hills and valleys. We will have to build bridges and dig tunnels, because a locomotive climbing up the 60 degrees steep slope will look ridiculous. So the max slope angle for tracks should be defined. As I saw on the roadmap, cars are also planned, I hope for something of "buggy" type for rough terrain.

We intend to play a fitting music track for each time the player has built a vehicle for the first time. And as I'm just as excited about trains as some of you are, I created a piece specifically for a steam train (maybe with the hidden intention to get Red to prioritize it
). I imagined riding a steam locomotive along a mountain pass with the engine chuffing perfectly in a fast rhythm.There are a few challenges, as well as other things on the to-do list that will probably push trains out further than we all want. Mine carts and tracks are more likely to arrive first. But Red will be able to give a better assessment about either than I ever could.

Yes, that works great. I didn't pay attention to the titles at first. It was only when I heard it that I thought, “Huh, that sounds like a steam locomotive or a Mississippi steamboat.” And then i took a clouser look at the titles. 😂👍
