How can I play on a LAN using the same copy of the standalone version of the game?

  • Good morning, I'm bardor.

Yesterday I purchased a license for the standalone version of the game so I could play on a LAN.

It seems that when I launch the game without the launcher on both computers, it’s linked to this account and displays the same username and UID on both. When I try to connect to the world I created, the game automatically kicks both the host and the guest because they’re the same.

Is it possible to play on a LAN network with a single game license? I bought the game specifically for that purpose.

Can you explain how the launcher options work? Do I need to use specific commands, and if so, what are they?

Many thanks to the developers and the entire community.

  • In principle, no, it is not possible to play on LAN with a single license: you need a second one.

It's a matter of fairness: If sharing a single license allowed multiplayer, do you think each player would buy their own key? In that case, there's no economic balance, and therefore no game.
