Invisible players

I've noticed this a bit recently. Is this a bug or some kind of hack?

I got that on my server for a first time player. All they could see is their name and not their avatar. I had to log off then back on to see them.

There seems to be indeed another bug which also causes players to be invisible sporadically In this case, only the nametag is visible (as mentioned by @angriff). Usually the issue can be fixed by reconnecting to the server (or alternatively the affected player has to reconnect)...

Unfortunately this issue seems to be difficult to reproduce I'll check out what's causing this, but if you have any information about how this issue can be reproduced, this might be very helpful

Unfortunately it does seem to be quite random. I'm wondering if adding on the player spawn event - event.getPlayer().setVisible() would have any effect. I'll add it to my plugin and see if that does anything to stop it happening.

On my server, it seems to happen upon respawn after death, about 25% percent of the time. When players log in, about 25% of the time there as well. It appears to happen only when they spawn in.

I also get render issues on occasion with posters. Lets say you go to detsroy one, it makes the destruction sound but poster is still rendered. Relogging removes the false render.

We are experiencing the same issue. It started first with just me no being to see my friend but he could see me , now we cant see each other at all .
