Here is an overview of the growth time of all plants (I hope I didn't miss anything) This table uses the internal plant names.

Ooh interesting stuff would it be possible to modify these values via a direct database edit? (I've not looked but I assume that it would be possible, unless they're hard coded in timers).

Yes, that should work However, the next update introduces some new API methods and events which give more control about growing plants
-
Thanks guys. API sound better. Looking forward to seeing all your hard work next week Red

If you edit the definitions.db would it have an effect on existent chunks or only in new chunks or do I have to start a new world with new definitions?
-
I'm pretty sure you do not need to start a new world when editing the definitions.db

Nope. Only changing the growth time in the definitions.db doesn't work on my server.
-
Silly question but did you change the values in your client's definitions.db or on the server's definitions.db?
-
On the server's definitions.db of course.
-
I think my problem is, that I only tripled the value so I can't notice the change. I try another value (maybe 10 times or more). Thank you all for your help.
