  • Secret doors/walls

    I'm imagining, for example, a rock face (natural block ID1?) that you can interact with and that then opens up.

    Or even a bookshelf which can be pushed aside. Or a bookshelf where interacting with a book causes the shelf to open like a double door.

    Once we can create our own doors,as it is planned this should be no problem.


    until then you can try to use a screenshot of a wall as poster. It has no hitbox, so you can just walk through.

    Or place a regular door behind it, hiding it behind the poster

  • Old java Blueprint grid does not line up with new blocks

    Yes I "could" take the grid off but it is hard to line the blocks up with the other.

    I didn't notice that yet but it could be.


    Or maybe you built the unity building off the grid?


    either try by changing the grid size with +/-


    Or get it as close as possible to the desired point, they hit ctrl button to keep the blueprint in place and use the arrow keys and pgup/dn to steer it into the correct position.

    You might want to change the precision to 0.001 to get it done as good as possible

    the blocks in the unity version work like planks and beams in java


    Ctrl and arrow keys / pgup/dn will rotate


    Shift and arriw keys / pgup/dn will resize


    More work benches will be implemented later down the road. The sawbench as well probably

    Jep, hab ich so verstanden und fände das richtig gut. Aber Red meinte dass das technisch nicht geht. Aber evtl. eben mit einer Art extra Layer über der Textur (denke ich mir jedenfalls so als Laie). Ähnlich wie Stein aussieht wenn man mit der Spitzhacke draufklopft, kurz bevor der Block kaputt geht. Nur eben dauerhaft.

    JIW-Games als Entwickler von Rising World hat natürlich was mit 'nem Community-Wiki zu tun, das ihr Spiel pusht.

    Da dachte ich, eine Kooperation könnte das Wiki retten, wenn's um Kosten geht.

    Mit "Einigung" dachte ich mehr Richtung Kosten, Unterstützung und Zusammenarbeit.

    Das hattest du anders geschrieben. Für mich hat es sich so angehört als ob jiw dafür verantwortlich wäre, dass das wiki zur Zeit offline ist.


    Aber auch so kann ich dir versichern, dass kein Budget da ist um private Projekte zu unterstützen.

    Und auch wenn, müsste sich jiw selbst aktiv beteiligen. Denn Leute die es übergenau nehmen und bei einem Fehler oder veralteten Info gleich ein zinnober veranstalten gibt es immer wieder

    Ich gebe zu dass ich das letzte Jahr privat viel um die Ohren hatte und dafür keine Zeit und Kraft aufbringen konnte.


    Aber auch dass ich mir mit dem richtigen Format schwer tue. Für jemanden der das öfter macht oder sich damit beschäftigt ist das sicher pillepalle. Für mich ist der Text weniger Aufwand als das Format

    1. Is that necessary? A stone pickaxe is very slow. Chopping a single tree or rock works but mining? Takes forever


    Along with tool degrading at a later point i think no one would seriously mine with a tier 1 tool


    2. Maybe there is a setting with the fuel time. wood is slower than coal. So theoretically you should be able to change something that would set the use of wood to 0,or increase to ***, and by that make it useless as fuel. But that should be answered by someone with more knowledge about programming and the config file.


    3. Check the config file. Boulders are classified as objects i think. Maybe there's a setting

    no, they will not populate your new land.


    Animal spawning is connected to the biome type. If its ocean they will not spawn.

    However you can use a console command. Or make a bridge and hope they will wander off to your new land.


    They will therefore also keep spawning in the regular biome, wander off and drown

  • water block delete

    i would suggest to look into the other F keys. One has a water Symbol on the UI. That might be a hint für a water tool.


    But who am i to know such things :D

  • Some new curtains and furniture

    btw you can shrink blueprints even more. Just shrink them as much as possible, they blueprint it again and et voila, you can start again shrinking with the new blueprint
