1- Skeletons-They come out of the lava, and attack the player with their hook hands.
Sure, I wouldn't mind that. Would enjoy them more if they had 'character' to their designs. Variety to each and their own.
2- Demon worshippers/ evil cultists- They wear black hooded robes, and attack the player with scythes.
Skyrim & Dragon's Dogma? Hmm...If they can be eased in gradually then I could eventually get used to them. Right now I'm saying no only because we humans hate change due to us having to constantly adapt. I'll welcome them, yet be annoyed if they're a pain. Doesn't mean they shouldn't, just that I'll simply be angry with them. If they are irritating.
3- Bloody Leech- It crawls along, and launches itself at the player, sucking a small chunk of life from them each time.
No headcrabs, spiders, or insects....Will accept body leeches, just will have to get crafty with their design. Keep away from Half-Life designs. I'd recommend going with flying biters leech type things, if necessary. Think of of the creatures in Star Wars in that worm in an asteroid.
4- Decomposing Imp- it limps along, and bites the player, when within range.
Sure, why not. Simple as that. Add them.
5- chained horror- mummified in chains, they spin around, unchain themselves, then the grisly creature underneath screams at the player, hurting them. The initial spinning feature hurts too.
Holy shit!.....Not even playing and I already freaked out. If you want this in a Halloween update then go for it. However, keep it down there and in a rare manner. I'll support it, just that I'll be more freaked out wanting Red to add in NPC comrades to join me in my adventures. Well, I want Red to add the NPC comrades either way, but these shall want me them more so.
6- mouth of madness- like a bear trap, this huge grimacing face lies in wait on the ground until the player comes within its range, then it spits out bones, which come together to form various horrific creatures.
Demon doors in them Fable games? Haven't played, only heard. If you have those mouth types then they'll be popular in dungeons. Sure, why not.
7- flapping nightmare- a demon head with wings for ears, it hunts the hells then spits bloody spores at its prey, which burns for a short time.
Reminds me of all the demon type entities I see in Anime design. Sure, do it. Need something else to ear. Flying entities being a rare sight in Minecraft so I want Rising World to take advantage of this also. Make sure that they can be hybrids of landing & flying entities. Spitting liquid, or even to control you (other entities) briefly would be quite an adventure. Imagining a player being forced to attack another.
8- Toad of torture- huge lazy creatures, who slowly jump towards the player. When within range, they open up their huge mouths, and screaming bodies reach out and attack the player with their bony hands, with a small chance to drag them inside...to die.
Unique creature. Sure....I'm all up for being scared to shit bricks out of my rear end with that kind of 'alien-esque' entity. Being dragged inside could give you a chance to attack it within 10 seconds before being squished from the recoil of the body it used to grab you back into its body.
9- Crazed butcher- Runs aimlessly around, laughing. When it spots the player, it goes crazy with its bloody carver.
What was that crazy game people were looking forward to? Diablo? That's the only one I can't recommend because it's done to death a bit. Remember one of my cousins showing me how a butcher entity would grab and skin people when a little one. Only against it because it's 'too common', even in horror movies.
10- Putrid waste- A misshapen, stationary blob of...refuse...it stretches up in a ghostly face of torture, and spawns smaller versions of itself. Killing the putrid waste, spawns a random number of bloody leeches.
Slime from Minecraft? Even if not, that's another one I can go against. I'd recommend more living like with 'infantile' entities hiding under rocks and such. When you lift up something you'll find them screaming there, staring back at you in a horrified manner to be covered again. Adding onto this....if a parental figure spotted you'll wish you never found them.
I particularly like the toad of torture, but i would love to read what people think of these.
I left out demons on purpose, because, well, they'll be there anyway won't they. haa
I also had an alternative feature linked with the 'dragging inside the mouth' for the toad of torture. perhaps the mouth leads to another small room, where you have to fight off waves of horrific creatures, with a reward at the end. And the biggest reward in the game of course. Your life. haa!
