How are the mounts and there system going to affect the present animal breed master plugin? Will we be feeding the horses to tame them like in ABM? If so will this interfere with the other animals feeding and breeding? or more correctly, will there feeding and breeding interfere with the mounts system?

Idon't Think the API is capable of Doing that.

not capable of what, the ABM plugin that we already have?

He made a comment in a previous post that breeding is not part of the equation since that is on their list but not prioritized. So I would speculate that if it interferes with ABM .. then the ABM writer will have to patch it like the problem with sheep until they put in an official version.

I was just bringing up the question is all. and I realize that breeding is not a part of the mount update but it is a part of abm and I was wondering how it was going to affect that. It is obvious that the plugin creator will have to update but as it is red51 that provides the API, I thought he could spread light on this. Remember we had slaves for a short while with the npc dummys before abm updated, will something similar happen and will abm be able to breed horses until it is implemented on the main game. Also the original question, if feeding is going to be used with the mounts for taming will that interfere with the feeding in abm when taming and breeding the horses to be mounts? I am just comeing up with more questions. It would also be nice to unown the mounts so you can go out and capture them and sell them to other players. My server has a working economy system.

I was sad that they stopped ABM and dummies. I thougt it was a great feature that you could populate your buildings. Now we have just locked stationary dummies that eerily watch you as you move and clear their throats ad infinitum

The API ( what you use the make Plugins) Its not In there so we can't add that feature
-
then by asking red51 about it I am asking the correct person he might put it in.

New to the forums. 280hrs on the game. It is the only game I will be playing.
The mounts are amazing! Later if possible, different types or horses would be nice. Clydesdale, Arabian, Newfoundland Pony, etc etc. Different colors and patterns.
Breeding of the horses is desired by all.
Previous talk of horse drawn carts and wagons is also very desirable. In games such as this storage transport is always an issue and players always beg for more transport ability. The period-styles and different capacities for higher priced wagons would be desirable. Imagine if you had multiple horses hitched up to a chuck wagon! Factor out that the wagon's speed is determined by how many horses there are! I don't think that has been done in a game before!
Much stress is created with the inability to bring your mount through a portal. It is restricting peoples decisions to travel and explore greater distances.

This is probably my bad (at least if you are using my Portals plugin), will check if I can solve it and somehow teleport the horse too through the portals

correction I confirm that mounts can not pass through portals infact they kind of treat them like walls. I went and tested on my server.
