• I have the plugin on my server and it's running fine so far.

My question would be whether the area for querying whether someone is in the portal could be expanded?

It seems to me to be very small and that you have to enter exactly a certain point

as soon as creating areas via api work correctly i will change how its triggered. for now i added the portal assist witch add a small collider to the portal. just walk into it until it stops you and your in the center.

  • Just wondering if there are still plans to implement any of the planned fixes as outlined in the OP?

yes! still waiting on custom items in the API. now that areas are working from the API I'm looking into using areas for the portals so you are able to use the default portal effect or build your own!

Awesome! It's good to know the community is still engaged around here despite some flak in the Steam forums (an ugly place, as it turns out). My other go-to builder, Creativerse, kinda died in the wake of some poor-ish developmental and financial decisions by the producing studio; a lot of established players and content creators bounced.

  • This mod still active? I'm not seeing the download files.

to be honest im not sure if i still have the source code. also with the latest update i would need to re compile the asset bundle as well. ill see what i can do .

i found the last version of it. can be found in the first post. i do not have the source code anymore so i cant update it. ive been busy working on other plugins. if i can find some time i may bring this one back.

oh no, that makes me sad ;(

this plugin also has the mouseover problem; that probably means that it won't be fixed anymore

(or maybe the api fixes this problem by itself?)

it is really my favorite portal plugin of the two that exist :D;)

the next hotfix should fix the issue with the plugin. its an api issue not anything in my code.

  • Really like your mod james1bow can't wait for future updates.

I placed 3 down and had no issues except for it not recognizing my character standing in the portal, takes quite a few tries to find that sweet spot. I know you are aware of this and will figure it out when you have the time.

I did run into an issue on my private server, my 3 portals could be seen and used by the other players (portals set to public) but when one of the other players placed one down and set it to public I could not see it and he could not use it (same "Please step into Portal" message). After that I tried placing another portal down at his base but no matter what I did I could not get it to work, kept getting the "Please step into a Portal" message. Upon exiting the game and reentering where I placed the new portal it was gone as if I never placed it down. Same was happening to the other players. I have one question, is there a way to delete individual portals once they have been placed?

I know this is not on the top of your list but thought I would let you know. Looking forward to any updates to this plugin, hopefully when you find the time.
