I need help with a server please.

As you know Juggs passed away.

I have been with Juggs since he started WF. This spring I was flying out to him get get a run down on how to operate the server and He was going to give me server files so If anything happened to him I could still carry the server on.

Will that did not happen fast enough.

Im new to running a server. I have been reading through the new server posts and commands.

But i have questions.

I want to build my own server like Juggs had but it might take a min to afford to build it. So If i rent a server will i be able to add plugins to it?
If later down the road I finally get my own built server built will i be able to transfer all those files over to the new built server so we dont lose everything that people will have built?

When building a server do I need a GPU? And what im i looking for in way of a MB ram cpu?

Sorry , Im trying to get this up and running ASAP. We dont know how long before his family pulls the plug on his server . We have BP everything that Juggs as built in game so we can add them into the new server to Remember and Honor Him.

I have tried to get the family to let me be able to get the server files. But basically its a Go PHk yourself deal, since his family thinks gaming is stupid.

The server Im looking at right now if I rent one is GTX gaming, Im in the USA. or is there another server place anyone recommends?

Give them time. Suggest them to buy the pc at some point or at least pay for the files. If that's not possible maybe appeal to their emotions for juggernaut. Maybe gaming is stupid for his family but it was important for juggernaut. And he raised a server widely known in this community. You would continue this legacy.

Ok, I was trying not to have to go into detail. But I guess , I need to so people wont think im a dick or not empathic.

I reached out to the cousin who understands and is a gamer himself. He is the one that came on and posted in our discord so we would know.

He understands the importance of having the server files. He is the one that caught crap from Juggs family when he asked if he could have the server. So he could get me a copy. I told him it was ok to wait to ask. Because I understand the stress the family is going through. I also offered to buy the server in like a month or two or how ever long it takes for the family to return to a normal life.

Yes we have BP everything we can and have saved those Bp.

Im not expecting to ever get the server files. But if we do thats great.

Juggs ex wife is the one that has it now. Little Juggs lives with her and would play RW when he came to Juggs home. The family life was kind of messed up which is what happens when parents get divorced .

In no way was I trying to force getting the server right now. I asked the cousin about it. I did not know he was just going to ask straight ahead right then. Was not my intention.

But anyways ,

Avanar , your very correct in everything you said. I tried to make it that way , just did not know the cousin was going to bring it up right then to the rest of the family. If I had know that I would waited at least a month.
