Ahhh red51 previously I downloaded the Java version and used the correct serial and then copied this across to my PC without needing to connect that one to the internet, am I unable to with the new version?
No, unfortunately that no longer works with the new version 
You need to run the game at least once with an active internet connection...

Hello, I played with the new version today, I didn't see it written anywhere about it, if it is written I apologize. I noticed that when you dig down to -20 and a row there is no need for a torch, because it is very clear. Please pay attention to this because it is not normal, at least in my opinion. Thanks.

Have you tried closing the hole to see if the light won’t shine in?

Compared to the Java version there are some limitations to that, so you won't find pitch black caves unfortuantely (in order to achieve that, we need static lighting - like in the Java version - but that would look far inferior to the current lighting) 
There is, however, still room for improvements. Caves are still too bright in certain situations, this will change once caves are fully implemented

Really enjoy the look of the new version. Being older (66) I often worry that games won't get completed in time for me to play them with the way things are going in the world these days But the old version of Rising World is one of my go-to games when I get bored with other games.
We have now updated our Trello-Roadmap, sorry for the long delay 
We're currently still working on construction elements - we've spent a lot of time optimizing them to make sure they have the lowest possible impact on performance. The first results look promising compared to the Java version. The actual building tools are mostly ready. What's still lacking is a good selection of proper textures.

Apart from the building tools, we're also working on Multiplayer and the dedicated server as well as the new RCON Tool. The MP will be ready shortly after the building update.
I still don't know if we will write a new status update soon or if we focus on getting the actual update ready
