Here is something more modern then my usual ships it's smaller but still plenty of space to add more rooms if you wish so it is called MY Rising World Yacht. Like the game itself It's not complete but it's there to enjoy it
Perfect to make it as your base on a ocean.

And here I am struggling with how to build a simple fishing boat. How do you get the smooth angles of the prow to rise up and expand outward from the keel? That has been my downfall.

you mean like this? modular snapping to the outside pivot point, do that with a lot of small pieces in sequence and you can get very nice custom curves
Well, yes I know how to do that, but when there are multiple angles and it expands in two directions. That's where I am having trouble. I'll look at your yacht and see how you did it. I'm probably making it mor complicated than it needs to be.

the system can take a bit of getting used to, so maybe, but i don't blame you xD you can definitely snap a row in both different directions, but the other tip i would give is surface edit. that's how i made my igloo, which is a rounded surface in both directions. the slant you can do with that is very useful.

It's not that complicated if you have a reference picture of the ship you want to build i might give a go to build it for you if you want
The only thing that is missing, is the possibility to use these ships in RW

Thanks for your kind offer, but what would be the fun in that?? I did download your yacht and looked at it, noticing that you used regular blocks at different angles, which is fine, the build is beautiful. But up close it has a bit of wonky angles too. So I don't feel so bad, now, if the great Drakonas also has imperfections. Sincerely--you are great! I tried several methods and finally settled on Frankenstein-ing some different shaped pieces together... It almost works. LOL. 
I'll post it when I am done. I'm sure with more practice I'll figure out something to make those parabolic(?) shapes better. Though, what I wouldn't give for bezier curves and editable single points of a block!

Thank you for kind words and yes non of my build are perfect I make as I go with what game has to offer
for me to figure out how to make bow rake and bow flare and sheer lines it took a really long time with some sleepless nights and few headaches 
because ships has quite a complicated shape and when you have limitations in game it's impossible to expect perfections As long as it makes you happy with what you build well then that is most important thing Having Fun and if you can share your builds with the community well that is just best part

well its possible now with a little coding and unity work, all blueprint models can be exported as .obj files an obj is a 3d model the only downside is they have no textures, this means you will need to import them into unity and add your own textures, and turn them into a prefab that you can then program using the API to move and float on water, kind of like my helicopters i added

Wow. That seems like a complicated process, but I am impressed with your work. I really hope that Red might use that work (compensated if you wished) to create a system for us to do precisely this sort of thing in game!
