Hi community,
This plugin allows every player to set his unique home point and to port to it. It was made on request by @PatrickBronke.

Dieses Plugin erlaubt es jedem Spieler einen eigenen Home-Punkt zu setzen und zu diesem zu porten. Es wurde auf Wunsch von @PatrickBronke gemacht.

all commands:

/home help	shows a list of all posible /home commands
/home	teleport to your home point
/home set	set your home point to your current position
/home set [x] [y] [z]	set your home point to the position (x;y;z)

admin-only commands:

/home [player]	teleport to [player]'s home
/home set [player]	set [player]'s home to your current position
/home set [player] [x] [y] [z]	set [player]'s home point to the position (x;y;z)

hint: the default home point is the spawn point

Just out of curiosity and to know more of the needs of other users, why the GPS plug-in was not suited? It does everything this plug-in does and more, all without the need to remember additional, structured chat commands...

Frankly speaking I also don't really know. As I already mentioned in the description, I only did it because I was asked to.

The latest GPS plugin supports private and global waypoints. you can set them with any name you want and if you want to get to one, there are indicators showing you the direction of and how far away the waypoint is.

you need to be able to disable the use of the waypoints by server owner. This allows the use of /home but won't allow other way points from being used to set a point inside some one's home and come back as soon as the owner has left. It can still be done with /sethome or what ever the command is but less likely sence you only have the 1 tp point. Just a thought.

I will not complain about him making this plugin if he actively is working on this cause gps has some problems rt now and we need an update or a replacement for it. The red errors that gps is throughing is a little bothersome at least and if he can get this working without errors it will be worth it.

I'm sorry, frankly speaking I did not plan to continue programming any of my plugins because of a lack in time. Nevertheless I will try to find the time to update this plugin next weekend.

cool but I do agree that

/home set [x] [y] [z]

set your home point to the position (x;y;z)

is a security risk and can be used to break into other player's properties. same for waypoints, they can be set without the owner's knowledge and used to break in when the owner's are not around and that is why I asked for the ability to turn the way points off. The home point can be done the same but is less likely to happen if it is the only tp point you have. I encourage exploration on my server and feel that providing the home point is needed and worth the risk but I don't want to give them more then the 1 point. but I do realise that others might want to allow it, so I ask for a way to turn it off please.

just had another idea. since you do not wish to continue your projects you might release the sorce codes to them so other's may continue after you DC your support. Maybe 1 of the other programmers would like to pick up where you left off.

Hi community,

I updated the HomePoint plugin to version 1.0.1. It should be secure now because I switched from using the player's name to using the player's unique id for saving the HomePoints.

It's still possible to set your home point to a specific point; Probably I will add a config file to set permissions in the future.

Was für ein Stock meinst du? Und wann tritt der Fehler auf: beim setzen des Punktes oder beim dahin teleportieren oder bei beidem?

ich denke mal er meint die Höhe oder gar ein Stockwerk in einem Haus.
