This is just a small preview of the next update. It will introduce various mounts, including horses.
Mounts are not only a method of fast transportation, they can also carry bags which can be used to store items while travelling.
But the update will also include some other changes, e.g. some reworked animations, new items and several bug fixes.
Probably the update will be ready this month, so stay tuned!

I was having a bad day that I'm thankful to Red51 that he posted this to indirectly cheer me up on my horrible day. I was being blamed for a lot of things that I'm genuinely happy to see & hear horses shall be a thing within the month of May, if things go right. This shall nicely encourage traveling far distances while transporting goods around the map that I'll be making use of horses with the saddle bags to carry stuff. Excellent!
Been waiting on horses to size up my entrances for three related builds that i can now complete them to Youtube them

I really can't say much about that yet. The trains update will be a pretty big one so probably it will be splitted into several updates. There will be a distinction between "mine trains" (including minecarts) and "regular trains" (passenger trains, freight trains). Probably there will be at least a Steam and Diesel loc (and maybe a handcar^^), but I can say more about these things in the near future

what do you want for survival? There is Hunger, Thirst, wild Animals, etc.. This Game has Basic Survival Elements, Ther will be No Zombies or Monsters, if that's what you mean.
Wow! I'm already excited that there's horses, but the fact that there are more unspecified mount creatures coming too makes me so psyched! I can only wonder what they will be!
One thing though, that horse's head seems to be a bit off. The nose is a bit large for its face and the bridge of its face seems a bit too scoop-like. (Though Arabian horses have scoop noses... This doesn't look intentional). His face is kind of shaped like a banana.
Will the horses come in different colors and patterns? Can we color the reins? How about hitching them to the grinding station, maybe a plow that the horses can pull to till large amounts of farmland at once, or even flatten land like the rake? It could be a way to save time when working with large amounts of land. There are a couple of ideas I had for semi-automating certain processes in the game like this, but I'll save that for a different thread.
PS. I love this game. I bought it in 2016 and then took a hiatus for a while, revisited it a few days ago and I'm blown away by the changes made recently. I made an account just to write this comment. Keep up the fantastic work!
Monsters shall be dungeon only; Zombie dogs in hell only. Hostile human NPCs shall be pirates, bandits, and raiders that'll keep you occupied above ground.
Survival was said to have environmental effects + preserving food by smoking it, and such in the updates sometimes between or after the transportation updates. It's all up to Red51.

how about wear and tear on our tools so as to make a reason for you to keep making the tools. They need to break >:)
