Wouldn't mind relearning how to ride a bike again seeing as how bikes are slightly different in handling and posture. Always have to relearn after every winter season so its only natural.

That's a bit harsh. Early access games are like used cars to me. They aren't yet at 100% of their potential but that adds to their charm.

Yes, once the new version is a bit more fleshed out so it can replace the Java version, the current Java version will be available as a separate beta branch

That's true, but after having actual hands, the old style (floating items) looks a bit odd

the draw distance seems to exceed the old version. wow!
Im guessing that it's also down to what setting it's showing at, which I would hope with using Unity should be slight more then what we had in the last version
