It's weird... the amount of textures basically shouldn't matter, because they're all in a single texture array, so all construction textures are loaded to VRAM during game startup (so shading & texturing a single block has the same overhead as having thousands of blocks with different textures)
You could maybe try to reduce the texture quality (especially the construction texture quality) to the lowest value in the graphics settings (just to see if the crash persists).
Otherwise I could only imagine that this may be related to the Unity version. In fact it's the HDRP which tries to allocate that insane amount of memory... we're currently using Unity 2022.2.7f1 (which was released on Februray 15), but a newer one is available. The changelog doesn't contain anything related to memory allocations though, and a newer version may always introduce new issues, but if we can't find a solution for this, we'll update the Unity version for the next hotfix.
We don't have an artifical limit on the download speed.. but unfortunately we only have a single download server atm which is located in Germany. Depending on where you live this may have a negative impact on the connection to the server
Oh. Well nevermind then. I live in Romania. Maybe that's why.
